This Pro Lens Adapter from FotodioX enables the use of your Arri Bayonet lenses on X-Mount mirrorless camera bodies. It features all-metal construction with chrome plated brass mounts for secure and precise fit. This adapter is designed to maintain infinity focus. Furthermore, the featured stop-down mode will need to be used when metering since the lens does not have the ability to have its aperture controlled by the camera body.

A: This adapter does not communicate any information between lens and camera so you won't be able to change the aperture in the lens.

A: This adapter will not work with the Pocket 6K.

A: It should work with any PL lens, but I can say from personal experience that it works with my RED 50-150 zoom, RED 300 prime, and Sony PL primes, Zeiss PL zooms, and many others.

Q: 4. Will this adaptor work for a Cooke 65mm Prime (miniS4) to a Canon 5DM3?

A: I haven't tried with the S4 mini but the S4 does not work. No prime that I've tried will fit with the adapter.

Q: 5. Can fix Zeiss compact prime lens to canon RF mount?

A: This adapter does fit a compact prime lens that has a PL mount.

Q: 6. Does this work with Canon TS-E lenses?? I bought one and can't seem to get the aperture setting to work on GFX 100

A: It is compatible in that the lens will attach but there is no communication between camera and lens so you won't be able to change the aperture on the lens.

Q: 7. Does this also work on Minolta MC?

A: Yes this FotodioX Minolta MD Lens Adapter also works with Minolta MC.

Q: 8. Will I be able to control exposure and get AF from my canon lenses?

A: No, you don't have any electronic communication with this adapter.

Q: 9. What PL lenses does it fit? Does it have the same problem as the PL to EF adapter?My guess is that it would work with more lenses due to the mirrorless factor.

A: You can use any PL lens with this adapter. There are no compatibility issues.

Q: 10. Does this come with a front PL cap and a rear Fuji mount cap?

A: Mine didn't come with any.

[3 x 3 x 2"] Bought this adapter blind for a small project I was shooting that required Cine glass. I'm thoroughly happy with it. It fits the X-Mount perfectly with no wiggle or play at all; and the PL mount tightens snug on the front. I mounted Leica Summicron-C Cine lenses on my Fujifilm X-T2, and it maintained focus all the way through the range. I felt comfortable with the weight of the Leica Summicron-C’s, but I wouldn’t put anything heavier than that on this mount as I don’t think the camera’s X-Mount would be able to handle the weight. I think the Leica Summilux and Summicron Cine lenses, Arri Ultra Primes, and the Zeiss CP2’s and CP3’s would be ideal for this. Anything heavier would require rod support with a lens post. Does NOT come with a front cap or rear cap! Otherwise, very happy with it! 5

[0.4 lb] So many of these adapters are cheap or don't allow the lens to focus properly when in place. This adapter works flawlessly and you don't have to worry about collimation; if your Arri B mount lens is properly collimated, it will remain so when this adapter is applied. Construction is solid and it can be put on a lens in a matter of seconds. Highly recommended. 5

[0.4 lb] This adapter fits very snugly on a Zeiss 10-100 and Angenieux 12-120 and feels solid. Almost too snug, as it's a bit tricky to twist off, but I prefer that to having it loose in the mount. The twist lock is a nice feature, much preferable to the cheaper solutions that tighten with a small allen screw. 5

[0.4 lb] I purchased this for mounting my Angenieux 12-120 2.1 HEC to a RED Monstro. The adapter is really high quality, just what I would expect for the price. The locking mechanism is very sturdy as well. The lens focuses great on the body and overall is a great item. I would definitely recommend this item to others. 5
