We have had Axis cameras since the Trinidad and Tobago Hospitality and Tourism Institute started in 1995. The cameras have stood the test of time with just a few hiccups. For some reason we were never able to view them offsite. I was pleasantly surprised and happy to learn that we could still get a licence for them and be able to view them offsite. We just have one camera that is showing blurry but we hope to replace it. With COVID 19 Pandemic the School is closed for the rest of the school year and funds are very low right now. We do have plans to replace the cameras with upgraded Axis versions in the future. 5

The physical license arrived the day after ordering and worked fine on my Synology NAS. It was also competitive price for a single license. 5

The Synology Surveillance Station software is the best security camera software we have used, having tried two before this. It is more costly having to buy licenses for each camera you want to use but at least the licenses are transferrable between hardware upgrades and not bound to a specific camera's MAC Address or hardware. The software is very smooth and easy to use with advanced feature available if needed. It has otherwise been very plug-n-play switching over. 5

There are lots of free applications for IP Cameras, but if you're serious about IP Surveillance you can't do better than Axis Camera Station, and the best way to acquire the licenses is from B&H. 5
