A: While not as powerful this will still work with the ATEM Mini Extreme ISO if you happen to lose the included power supply.

A: I noticed a similar but somewhat different problem with my BMCC 2.5K, I have experienced the same Disappearing Zebra's as you have however in my case with my BMCC 2.5K I only loose them when I have my Zebra's set to ABOVE 90%, at 90% they are still there but if I go any higher they are gone. I have my monitor connected via SDI as well so after doing some research I think it might be and issue in part with SDI itself in terms of Legal vs Full range signal (Video vs Data (LOG) levels being transmitted over SDI I have noticed this problem before with RED EPIC and SONY Cine Alta Camera when connected to Blackmagic video devices like the Ultrascope 4K monitor, Both the REDs and Sony cameras are unable to show values above 95IRE on that Broadcast Ultracsope. I believe that because Blackmail Devices are geared toward Broadcast and Broadcast acceptable formats the Video Assist has trouble reading high values of luminance. It could also have to do with the SDI mode is your camera set to display Video dynamic range or Film domains range when you are in your camera's DISPLAY/MONITOR menu? When Blackmagic camera's are set to record RAW internally the SDI is automatically set to output 10-Bit LOG over SDI so the Video Assist might have trouble reading the LOG single over the SDI.In regards to SDI trigger problem, just set it to T/C Run instead of SDI, I know this sounds wrong because you have your camera connected over SDI but in my case with my BMCC 2.5K T/C Run works flawlessly.

A: The Video Assist does accept 32GB SDHC cards, however you will want to make sure they are fast enough to create large, high quality ProRes Files. We recommend B&H # SAEPSD32GV3A which are SanDisk Extreme Pro 32gb cards. However shooting in ProRes 422 you will only get around 37 minutes of footage. Because ProRes files are so large you may want to invest in 128gb cards, such as B&H # SAEPSD128GV3, which will give you around 2.5 hours of footage.

A: Unfortunately the Video Assist HDMI/6G-SDI Recorder and 5 Monitor can only record what the camera is able to output. The Video Assist HDMI/6G-SDI Recorder and 5 Monitor will not be able to capture an increase in frame rate if the camera is not capable of producing that frame rate to begin with.
