The Phonic PAA3X Handheld Audio Analyzer from Phonic is a sound analysis tool for use in checking your audio equipment both in the studio and on location. It provides an array of sound analysis tools, such as a 31-band and 61-band real-time spectrum analysis, an RT60, SPL and line meter, and other features such as internal generator, EQ setting program, microphone calibration, and speaker phase checking abilities. All functions and menus can be accessed through a central jog dial, leaving your other hand free to adjust audio settings. You can upload information and settings to your computer via the built-in USB interface. A microphone for measurements, a mic extension cable, a microSD card, and an AC adapter with USB cable are included.

[2.7 lb] I've been using a Shure Beta 58 for about twenty five years for vocals. I needed another backup mic and decided to try this Audio Technica AT 2010. The frequency response is great. The power the mic puts out is much more than the Beta 58, of course the Shure is a condenser mic so it was expected that the AT 2010 with phantom power would deliver more punch. It also is very accurate and picks up every nuance in your voice. I also have Audio Technica shotgun mics and studio large diaphragm mics that also are great. My only complaint is that it is so sensitive and if you have a bad vocal night it will unforgiving hitting some high notes, where as the Shure does not have the frequency response and is more forgiving. 5

[0.7 lb / 325 g] This is s great vocal mic for the price. I like the sound of it better than all the other $100 mics, including the Shure SM58 and the Sennheiser e835. Just hope it is as reliable as them. 5

[Micro USB] I used it recently with a Behringer MIC2200 and QX1832USB at a live stage performance at my church. The mic was used by both male and female vocalists for singing and speech. I'm extremenly happy with the performance and ease of setup. 5

[A, C, or Flat] Purchased the Phonic PAA3X analyzer to tune my studio to achieve a flat sound curve. Worked great! Comparing the audio before and after using the PAA3X was an eye opener! Also used the analyzer to ring out PA system when playing out live. Highly recommend this product! 5
