The lightweight and durable aluminum tripod features 5-section telescoping legs secured by ergonomic twist locks.

The legs can be set at three different locking angles of 22.5°-24°, 50°, or 80° for stable support on uneven terrain. The leg-angle adjustment lock also allows the legs to be folded up to a compact size for transport or storage.

Removing the tripod's rubber feet exposes the spiked feet that provide steadiness and won't slip or move when placed on soft ground, grass, or sand.

The two-piece adjustable center column has a telescoping section secured by twist locks for extra height and easy adjustment.

The low-angle center column is ideal for low-angle photography. Reversing the center column makes it possible to mount your camera extremely close to the ground.

One leg can be removed and in seconds becomes a monopod that extends up to 53".

Oben's BE-Series dual-action ball head boasts smooth and effortless operation and features separate locking knobs for independently adjusting the ball and panoramic base.

The BE-Series ball head includes an Arca-type compatible quick release plate for ease in mounting and dismounting your camera.

The ball head has an integrated bubble level to assure accurate camera alignment with the horizon.

[3 Positions] Perfect size, good enough height, solid construction.

[4.125 lb] I needed a smaller tripod that would fit in my pack and this one is it. A bonus is the adjustable angle feature for the legs allowing for help with the close up work I love to do. The load capacity at nine pounds allows me to use any of my camera and lens combinations. The maximum height is a little short at 51 inches but not a major problem.

[Yes] Wish I bought this travel style tripod first. Perfect for when you can't travel with something more stocky. Quality materials and design.

[Yes] Very well made travel tripod which when folded fits into the supplied case at only 12 inches in length. This makes it easily fit inside a backpack. Sturdy enough for micro four thirds bodies with medium to long lenses (e.g 14-140) fully extended. Trade-off for compact folded length is reduced top height when set up. Integrated bubble level is useful for video panning or panorama stills.

[5] I got this because I constantly leave my bigger tripod home on short trips because I can't be bothered. This is very light, easy to pack because of the compact size. When you get it, play around with it, open and close a few times so you get the hang of it. The bonus is the monopod which is easy to assemble. I tried another one that I need to take a screw with me always so I can attach it, so this was much easier, nothing is needed. Nice price for a CF tripod

[Yes] I was looking for a light weight tripod that can also be converted to a monopod for birding on uneven terrains. The sales personnel immediately pulled out this one saying it meets everyone of your needs yet will not break your bank. I have used it since on my travels and am very happy with the purchase. This little tripod fits into a small carry bag but is sturdy enough as an extra long selfie stick!

[Ball Head] Got this tripod for backpacking trips. Really has everything you want for the weight/price. It's a little short, but for my purposes, perfect. A few pieces broke but the customer service was awesome, very quick to help you.

[Carbon Fiber] I like it so far. It's light weight and sturdy. Haven't used it extensively yet bu I love the versatility of it. Being able to lay the legs out flat to be able to get low shots was the driving factor for me. The fact that it so easily converts to a monopod is just an added bonus.

[Yes] I am not a pro, I don't need a 50lbs tripod, I just wanted something that is light enough to put in a backpack or carry-on. I can use it on my desk, the monopod is great and light I can use my GoPro with it for some flexibility and other creative shots.
I have a prima photo tripod that is quite similar in weight and specs, just didn't have the monopod which is what I wanted.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] My original Oben CT-3535 was stolen and I purchased it again from B&H (at full price) and, once more, find it perfect for its intended target use--the mirrorless compact digital camera (in my case the PEN F with the Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 PRO, a relatively heavy lens). The tripod is perfectly stable at maximum extension and I have experienced absolutely no problems with the leg locking screw mechanisms. All my photography (multi-exposure technique) depends on this tripod for sharpness and consistency of viewpoint; the Oben CT-3535 reliably serves this function at a high technical level. Folds nicely into the Nikon Advanced Amateur Bag sold by B&H (see my review of that bag).
