The Senal SCM-660 uses a large dual gold-plated diaphragm that is 1.3ʺ in diameter. It is tailored for a superior frequency response with a wide dynamic range

The microphone's polar pattern is selectable from cardioid, omnidirectional and figure-8. It offers greater flexibility in a variety of recording applications

The high-pass filter switch delivers roll-off for unwanted frequencies below 80 Hz that are associated with low-frequency noises and rumble, which can also degrade your recording

A -10 dB attenuation pad prevents distortion when recording loud sounds such as cymbals and electric guitar cabinets

To get optimal signal level without compromising the original audio source, this microphone handles a maximum SPL of 140 dB

The SCM-660 is built with an all-metal construction that maintains an overall high standard of durability. A hard-shelled case is also included, is suitable for storage, and provides protection when taking the SCM-660 on the road

The included shockmount reduces unwanted vibrations and comes with a universal 5/8" threaded-socket adapter. It is designed with a locking knob that enables vertical adjustment for customized placement

[-10 dB] I love this thing. Perfect for podcasting and voiceover. It comes with a great carrying case for transporting. The quick switch high pass filter is a great touch. Had to do some ADR on a low budget film I was making and couldnt afford to go into a sound studio. I was able to get the job done with this mic at my apartment with very pleasing results.

[Phantom Power] First off...the accessories are fantastic! Comes in a nice metal carrying case, with an all metal shock mount thats high quality. The mic itself is built extremely well and for $149, with the polar pattern switch, low cut filter, and -10db pad switch...it's hard to find fault FOR THE PRICE.

The only thing I can say thats not 100% positive is this....for VOICE work, this will work best on DEEPER voices, as it has that crisp bright top end sizzle to it. For instruments, and everything but voice work with a higher pitched voice...its a fantastic bargain.

[Black] These are extremely well-built, and so is the shock mount. The case is excellent too; rigid. It could have better (dual) latches for people like me who worry about a single latch opening at an inopportune time. The fact that it comes with either and both of these already makes the mic a bargain. 10/10 for quality of build, and that includes the actual condenser, which is gold plated. The sound is Rich, but not too rich or bassy. Neutral for male or female I would say. Specs tell you it's very good, but for 20x more $ you can get ever so slightly slightly better. Impedance is great for long runs, and not common at this price point.

[Mono] I made a big mistake when I bought this mic. They were on sale and I bought three; I should have bought six. These mics are an astounding value. We have a live Internet news show called On Target Radio that broadcasts via Facebook and YouTube. I bought three to cover our engineer, my co-host and myself. I should have bought an additional three for in-studio guests. The difference between these mics and our old ones is nothing short of wonderful and the multi-pattern makes them very versatile. If they go on sale again I'm buying three more.
