The 23" Revo Camera Track Slider V2 Adjustable Feet 23"is a sturdy, lightweight, and portable camera slider that lets you to capture smooth, short-run tracking- and dolly-type shots with loads weighing up to 21 lb. It features an aluminum construction, precision-engineered rails, and ball bearings that provide smooth and quiet travel across the entire length. The slider comes with a pair of removable legs for ground or tabletop mounting, with height-adjustable rubber feet. The legs attach via thumbscrews for tool-less assembly. Combined with an integrated bull's-eye bubble level, the slider is easy to level even on flat or slightly uneven surfaces.

The slider carriage features a 1/4"-20 screw for camera attachment, with an included 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 bushing useful for attaching a fluid head or larger camcorder. Q: 1. There seems to be spots on the slider where it becomes more difficult to move making a jumpy motions. Is there anyway to correct this?

A: If you don't have a defective slider, the one thing you can do is drag your fingers on the rail for resistance. I use a 5d without a tripod head. I attach it directly to the slider. I wish the lock would provide the resistance I would like, but it's not consistent. to smooth out the move, I drag my fingers on the rail behind the slider as I push it. the resistance helps with the move. the one thing I thought about, but haven't tried, is to use fishing line with a weight attached to the slider and hang over the end of the rail for resistance. as long as the weight doesn't swing back and fourth, and doesn't hit the ground, it should help, but like I said, I haven't tried it yet. hope this helps.

Q: 2. Does this work with any motorized device?

A: This slider does not work with any motor that I know of, and definitely not the E-Image Motor1, due to the belt being oriented in a different manner from other sliders. The belt orientation gives the slider extra travel distance when using the center bottom plate for mounting, and a motor would drastically unbalance the slider when mounted that way.

Q: 3. We lost the mounting hex screws for the feet. Can someone who owns this let me know the size of those screws? (Length and thread size)

A: I will try to determine that for you. Might take me a few days. That being said - Would be a lot easier for you to take the feet to Home depot and try to find a fit that way. Just go to the hardware aisle...

A: This offers a 21 pound Load Capacity.

A: You slide it by hand. This being my forst slider Im very impressed with how it works. Also it works well with a tripod. However it would work better with 2 tripods though.

Q: 6. Can I mount this onto my Manfrotto MVH500A Tripod?

A: Yes you can. It has a 3/8 and 1/4 thread. So either will do it for you. I don't particularly have the MVH500, but I happen to know it'll fit based on the threads. I do suggest mounting it onto a tripod head and then mount another head on top of that.

Q: 7. Can this unit be motorized? Is the rail an IGUS 1080 or similar?

A: I motorized mine DIY style for $25 with a Celstron low rpm motor.

A: You may be able to modify the Revo 47" Camera Track Slider with Adjustable Feet by removing the feet or removing the feet and drilling holes for screw attachment to a wall.

A: The E-Image ES50 Slider has a capacity of 17lbs/8kg. Whatever camera/lens weight combination you have, if it is under this weight, you should not have any issues.
