The CCS-1A Chime Com 2 Intercom Set from Aiphone includes the CC-DA Door Station and CC-1M Master Station, and allows for 2-way audio exchange. Communication can be initiated by a press of a button at the master station, which initiates a chime. The user has to press the button while talking and release the button to listen, however the door station offers hands-free operation. The master also has a chime and voice volume controls, and the door station features an illuminated call button.

A: The Aiphone JOS-1V Hands-Free Color Video Intercom System BH #AIJOS1V will use a basic two-wire parallel cable as recommended for the Aiphone MK-1HH.

A: The doorstation is weather resistant when mounted to a sealed back box.

Q: 6. Can the rangefinder be used if window glass is interposed between the rangefinder and the target object?

A: I have now purchased this binocular/rangefinder and have had the opportunity to do some limited testing. The rangefinder function works reliably and well on targets in the 100-300 yard range with single or multiple sheets of glass interposed between the rangefinder and the target. The glass can be clean or moderately dirty without affecting the function. I havenât tried long range targets yet but have no reason to believe they wouldnât work as well as short range targets.

A: The COM-60FC 6 user set does not include cables.

Q: 8. Can the attachment to the vest be with the telephoto lens itself, not the camera body? My concern is I have only seen images of the main camera body attached. as we all know with heavy telephoto lenses it should be attached to the lens to avoid stress on the camera mount. thank you in advance for any help.

A: Yes you can attach a telephoto lens that has a tripod collar with the Cotton Carrier hub to this vest, without the camera body.

BUT, must be smart enough to install the drivers first (not plug&play), and look in Device Manager to see what port was assigned, or assign a different port. The nice thing is that it remembers that port for next time, so you are not chasing ports each time it is plugged in - provided that the port selected remains free on the host PC. 5

[10.8 x 6 x 1.7"] If you are going to actually use these binocular rangefinders for hunting rather than just for general purpose range finding, you need to set up the Leica Hunting app to create ballistic tables and upload them to your binoculars. There is no documentation with either the binoculars or the app on how to do that. However, there is a file of instructions in MS format entitled “Leica BlueTooth rangefinder programming cheat sheet.” It’s not documented anywhere in official Leica publications but the Leica warranty and repair center technicians have access to it and will send you a copy by email if you ask for it. It tells you specifically step by step how to use the app to create and upload the necessary ballistic tables to your binoculars. 5
