This plastic Sigma Body Cap Pentax K Mountis designed to match the Global Vision-series of lens caps and accessories. The cap is used to protect the mirror box and sensor of your DSLR when a lens is not mounted. It can also be used when the camera is placed in a bag or case during storage or travel, and is compatible with most teleconverters.

A: No, the Sigma USB Dock will not work with the Sigma APO 50-500mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Lens. This will only work with Sigma Global Vision Lenses of the Art, Contemporary, or Sports lenses lines.

A: The Sigma LCF-105 III 105 MM lens cap. fits a Sigma 105mm F/2.8 EX DG OS Macro Lens which has a 62MM filter Diameter. I have a Sony 24-105 mm lens which has a 62mm filter Diameter. It would fit my lens. If your lens is 62MM diameter it will fit. If your lens is any other filter Dia. it will not fit.

[0.025 lb] This body cap is better than the original one supplied by Pentax which required good fingernails to pry it off of the camera. The original cap was lightweight white plastic while the General Brand is a hard black plastic with a knurled edge around the circumference making it easier to remove. It is also about 1/3 the cost of the white plastic one. 5

[Rear] I bought a used Pentax K-50 that came with what looked like an off-brand cap, which fit very poorly. I bought this to replace it, and it fit perfectly, so no complaints here. 5

[Twist-On] I have been waiting a while for a decent body cap to use with my K5, K01 & K3 team rather than the non-locking semi-transparent one you get with the camera bodies. This cap is just like the kind of body cap you can get with a contemporary Nikon or Canon DSLR. Previous generic ones I looked were poorly made, difficult to grip, a bad fit, likely to shed plastic moulding into the sensor/mirror chamber ... how could you get the design wrong ! Well Sigma. 5
