[7 x 2.4 x 2.05"] Easy to use, practical. Very well fits on the Sigma 35mm F/1.4 ART. The main reason you use a lens hood is to stop stray light coming onto your lens which can create lens flare and give your images less contrast. Lens hood quite simply blocks light from going over the front element of your lens.This normally happens when shooting into the sun or when you have a strong light source in front of the lens. 5

[7 x 2.4 x 2.05"] I bought a lens Sigma ART 35mm without a hood. Then I bought a lens hood, but it was old and did not hold well, the plastic fasteners were worn out. I had to buy a new one, it was not much more expensive. 5
