A: The Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch is a cable release that has a built-in cable. As such, you would have to purchase the appropriate model for your needs, as the cables are not interchangeable. The Vello ShutterBoss II Timer Remote Switch for Nikon with 10-Pin Connection, B&H # VERCN12, would be the correct remote release for use with the Nikon D810 DSLR camera. If you instead own the Vello Wireless ShutterBoss Timer Remote (which does use a detachable cable - available separately), then the Vello 2.5mm Remote Shutter Release Cable for Nikon 10-Pin Cameras, B&H # VERCCN125, would be the correct replacement cable that would work for your needs.

A: I think it will if you have the right connection cable. It works for both my sony and canon cameras just fine.

Q: 10. Will this work with a bracketing setting and trigger the set of photos required ?

A: Yes if you have your camera set to bracketing, then fire it with this remote, you shall be able to capture a set of bracketed shots.

[120 Ohm] I bought the wrong plug. I should have chosen the locking 4-pin Din plug. The cost of shipping back is more than the cost of the plug itself. B&H doesn't carry the plug I need. However, Neutrik always makes superior connectors. 5

[RoHS] Easy to open, prep, solder, and assemble. We used this to convert headsets from Clear-Com to RTS. It works very good. Clear-Com 4 pin to RTS 5 pin. Pin1=Coper color, Pin2=Red, Pin3=Green, Pin4=Blue, Pin5=Open, Tab=Ground. (Headset is mono, left ear only+mic.) 5

[DMX terminator] I made a couple of DC extensions for my lyra lights using this connectors. By far the best xlr connector I have used. Comes apart when you buy it, but is really easy to assemble. Great connector, a little more expensive but worth it. 5

[RoHS] I've been a loyal Neutrik fan since 1987, when I purchased my first NC3FX-B 3-Pole XLR Female Cable Connector. Rock solid connections, built-in strain relief, ease of assembly - Neutrik connectors have it all! There are cheaper connectors out there, but you end up having to replace the cable after a year because the connector fails. Pony up the dough for the Neutrik and you're good for a decade! 5
