Barska 12x32 Colorado Binoculars Blackblack 12x32 Colorado Waterproof Binoculars are handy and useful for a wide range of outdoor activities owing to its 12x magnification, making it ideal for bird watching, hiking, and sightseeing. This powerful device is compact and lightweight enough to comfortably fit in most pockets, packs, and bags without being cumbersome. To help hold them steady, Barska put a texture on the rubber armoring with raised finger grooves. If you plan on extended observation sessions or notice hand-shake due to the high magnification, they can be mounted on the support system using an optional 1/4"-20 adapter. Their fully coated optics transmit bright and clear images throughout the entire focus range, and the combination of eye relief and fold-down eyecups ensure comfortable use with or without eyewear.

Q: 5. i want binoculars to see the evening sky. what do the numbers 25x70, 20x80, 25x100, etc, describe? thanks

A: The first number is the magnification factor. The higher the number, the lower the field of view. The lower the number, the wider the field of view. The second number is the diameter of the lens. The bigger the number, the more light is let in. The minimum recommended size for night sky watching is 10x50. If the target object is faint, then 15x70 or higher binoculars are nice to have.

Q: 6. The previous version, the Celestron Nobel 8X32 were said to have excellent eye relief for those who wear glasses. These seem to have narrower eye relief. What are other eyeglass weare's experiences with these binoculars?

A: We haven't really had any feedback other than positive. As in the reviews indicate. The Eye Relief is 15.6 mm.

Q: 7. why should I more for your latest product compared with the 12x36 IS 11 which is more powerful?

A: The 12x32 and older 12x36 have the same magnification, field of view, and eye relief. The big difference is the close focus, which is significantly improved on the 12x32. The 12x32 is 6.6 feet. The 12x36 IIs is 19.7 feet. I have the 12x36 IIs and it's annoying to find yourself too close to a bird to get a proper focus.

[Center] This item has done very well for me. I got these for hunting. I can see clearly at early dusk and late evening and the visual clarity in daylight is stunning. I've only had to use up the 25 magnification but even at this level of magnification these binoculars have stunning vision. I sit 200 yards from the trees in my plot and from this distance I can see where leaves attach to the tree perfectly and clearly. I do not understand why other are saying these are simply great for the price or saying that they are not clear for them. I can attest that this product is something you want for the quality of you don't want to spend 1,000's on something that will work the same as these. I LOVE these binoculars.

[32 mm] Bought these for my 4 year old grandson who hikes and watches the birds in the woodlands of southern New Hampshire. They were inexpensive. They are colorful. They are easy to see because of the yellow. They are small and light and they are optically much better than I expected at the price level. Go Morgan!!!!

[Roof (BK7)] I'm not a professional and this is my third Binocular, this one is good quality and nice view quality. The package bag is poor, strap is bad and think in a tripod adapter as the zoom is 60X. 10 for price 9 for optics 4 for the rest

[12x] I bought the same binculars for my mother about 5 years ago and have been jealous of her ever since I now get great closeups of my local birdlife and with my mother's in the Caribbean, I could see the goings on at various cruise ships anchored in the bay without straining my poor shortshighted eyes.
