A: The suction cup is strong to hold the camera, but I don't put it outside because of the degrade with sun.

A: Yep, 3 1/2 , too big for any of my dive masks. I use an Octomask that has a Go-Pro mount imbedded in the top of the frame. Works great for diver perspective views.
