[Lithium-Ion] These Broncolor batteries charge up Superfast. Two batteries shooting at Full power Will last you all day.

[1.35 lb] By far the best light Ive worked with (compared to Hensel and Profoto). The light quality and consistency is unmatchable.
The only downside to Broncolor is the way you attached the modifiers, however thats something you get used to pretty quick.

[Lithium-Ion] If your on the fence weather or not to get extra batteries...just get them. It’s a slightly steep in price but you are buying a $2300 light...don’t cheap out now. I have the two light kit and got two extra batteries. May not need all of them on one shoot, but the night before a shoot I forget to charge one that’s when it will save my butt.

[Lithium-Ion] What do you get when you buy Broncolor? Quality at ever step and level. Beautiful construction and solid, this puppy will put in years of effort and function.

[1.35 lb] Very well made travel bag for Siros. Wheels are very convenient. Attachment points for Broncolor accessory bag are nice. Sturdy enough for airline check-in, but no locking points.

[Lithium-Ion] This reflector is pretty straightforward, mounts to my Siros 800, and I use it for the Broncolor line of barndoors and grids. I bought the Broncolor Siros set that did not come with this kind of reflector (comes with 2 standard umbrella cylinder reflectors), and I now have many more possibilities with this reflector and the modifiers I previously mentioned. FYI, you cannot use Barndoors + Grids, the barndoors fit inside the outer rim of this reflector, and only add a small amount of thickness to the inner diameter, but you cannot put grids inside it, incase you were wondering (and not that you would need to utilize both, of course).

[1.35 lb] I did a lot of research on my first monolight/strobe and it came down to Broncolor and Profoto. It was a hard choice, partially because I shoot Olympus and Bron does not make a transceiver for Olympus cameras and Profoto does. I also have a background in different types of design and engineering work and I love me a solid/beautifully made product.

In the end I chose to go with the Siros 800 L and its absolutely amazing. Due to not having a compatible transceiver I successfully have it working perfectly with PocketWizard (FlexTT5 and PlusIII), even with HS at 1/8000! The Broncolor iOS app is a big help too!

Looking back if I were to do anything differently, I wish I wouldve opted for the two light kit since Im now thinking of getting a 2nd strobe and the kit is a great deal with the extras it includes.

If you are considering the Siros for studio or location work, do it!

Lastly, I thought about the Siros 400 L as well but the few hundred dollars and slightly smaller body wasnt worth it for me. Ill take the extra power.
