The MBS5000 Broadcast Boom Arm with XLR Cableis a professional articulating mic boom that provides just the right counterbalance for popular broadcast microphones or other devices weighing up to 3.5 pounds. It can be used in studio environments and allows for quiet, easy, and repeatable positioning for on-air broadcast and webcast applications.

With square-tubing construction, the boom arm offers strength and a long service life. The preinstalled 10' XLR cable provides a neat clean look and the standard 5/8"-27 threading, which mates with common mic clips, offers plenty of room for a shockmount. Additionally, the MBS5000 comes with two mounting options: one is a removable C-clamp for desktops and the other is a screw-in flange mount for permanent desktop or overhead installations.

[Integrated] I am the Audio Engineer for a small non-profit and we recently required this kit for our podcast production. They have turned our office into a mini broadcasting booth. With 4 people we can easily have a 4-way conversation with these stands. They swing very easily and can be mounted just about anywhere! Highly recommend for any one looking to invest in podcast equipment.

[3.5 lb] I purchased this boom arm because I could not bring myself to pay $100 for the PS1. I am using the Rode PodMic on it and it works very well. The PodMic is a heavy microphone and I have no issues positioning it wherever I want. I like the included XLR cable as it looks less messy with the cable compact with/inside the arm. The tension joints are tight and work very well. I have been using it now for 2 months as a teacher having to now teach online from home and I very much love it! I'm glad I saved the money rather than going with the PS1.

[XLR 3-Pin Male] I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

For years I’ve used the cheap $15 scissor arms that come with the kits for starters. Those arms creak and squeak and don’t stay mounted. The Auray BA-XE4 is a great upgrade from those. It holds 3.5 lbs and supports the MC-Pod mic or most handheld dynamic mics. The Polsen M-85 works well with it too. The Auray BA-XE4 can be mounted with a clamp or permanently with a screw on base that is included. The arm is quiet if you need to adjust during recoding and the mic mount is a 5/8 threaded so no step up adapter is needed. My favorite feature of the Auray BA-XE4 is the integrated XLR mic cable. The cable is hidden inside the frame and cable management isn’t an issue. With my old arm, I was constantly messing with cable ties but not anymore. Check out this scissor arm in action by searching for “techmundane” on YouTube. The review is the MC-Pod Mic Kit on my channel.

[XLR 3-Pin Male] for 40 bucks you can't go wrong, i'm using it with a two pound mic, it holds it well and is sturdy and i like the built in xlr, it clips on easily and is secure. i recommend it if you are looking to not break the bank.

[5/8"-27 Male] I love that it comes straight out the box assembled and with the two options to either clamp it down or screw it into the wall. I never recommend using OEM screws though as I always prefer toggle bolts when I can. This definitely beats all those pricey boom arms, and I would highly recommend this to everyone!

[5/8"-27 Male] The right design. The right build. The right weight. The right attachments. The right tighteners. The right color. I looked at a lot of other options but the WAMBA is just right.

[5/8"-27 Male] This Arms has been Solid, I am also one the people who won't sit still in their chairs and like to eat their mic. So, I tend to move it Alot, and I fold it Back down when not using it to save space.
