Q: 1. I haven't used any ultra wide lenses before, so I might be entirely wrong. Looking at the lens front, there's a petal lens hood. If the lens hood is placed in such a way that it won't get in the way, wouldn't it be possible to maybe reduce the size of the hood and instead place a filter thread like 77mm that would be placed within the boundaries of the lens hood?
