[7" / 178 mm] I bought this to use in conjunction with a universal phone clamp (like a selfie stick) that screws into a 1/4 universal mount on the Clamp arm. It works great it's allowed me to use my phone camera as a higher resolution webcam replacement. The clamp is made of what appears to be solid aluminum and steel. Really happy with the quality, design and price. 5
