[Black] When recently updating my 15 year old Yamaha Clavinova to the new CVP-809, I was surprised that Yamaha no longer supplies a 29 bench with storage compartment. They only supply a 22 bench without a storage compartment. The On-Stage Deluxe was the solution for me. The construction is all quality; it was easy to assemble and the satin black finish is a satisfactory match to my CVP-809's flat black finish. The shipping from B&H was prompt via Fed EX. Highly recommended when you're needing a bench with a bit more seating room.

[Wood and vinyl] I bought this to go with Yamaha MOX6 in my home studio. (After being satisfied, bought another for my daughter aged 6.) The construction is sturdy. No flimsy parts. No sway or rattle. Apparently OK for on-the-move as well. The seat is firm and comfortable without being mushy. I am 50+, 5' 10 tall, and weigh 190 lbs. My height adjustment on the bench is the lowest possible. I could play in complete comfort for an hour straight. The X shaped base has strong pins on the top that fix snugly into their slots under the seat. (Don't forget to tighten these with a screwing motion once you are decided about your final height.) There are no loose screws/nut/bolts to work with. If there is any improvement, I would ask for one more notch on the lower side for height adjustment. (I had to raise the MOX6 by 1.5 inches to clear my legs properly and also to bring the elbows at right angles against the Key bed.) Overall, I highly recommend it, especially against the current price point. B&H Packaging: As always, no corners are cut. The original box is further packaged in a larger B&H carton, with ample padding around. Caution for B&H: Out of my 2 deliveries, one's outer box was smashed and crumpled, but since there was no damage to the merchandise, I kept it. Also it was delivered on a stormy/rainy day outside my garage by UPS without any rain protection. Since I was tracking online, and as soon as it said delivered, I rushed out, there was no damage. But, B&H definitely needs to raise a flag there.

[Wood and vinyl] I tried saving money using a chair with some books on it. Not good. This stool is actually exactly right for me. Not too hard not too soft. And I was worried it would be a little bit of a pain to put together like my stand was, but it was easy-peasy. I really love buying from B&H when they have what I need.

[Black] Very happy with this - like the fact that it goes higher than many of the other stools, and I like the mechanism for adjusting the height. So far it is perfect for what we need.

[21.8 lb] I use this every day. Height adjustable, which is great, and not very common. Extra wide, which is also not common and much more comfortable because of it. Stable and lightweight, too.

[21.8 lb] I have my keyboard on a folding table connected to my MacBook Pro and my folding chair was too low for me to comfortably practice so I ordered this bench from B&H. Took a little longer than I expected for delivery but when it came...WOW! The seat is very, very firm and thick. The folding legs exceeded my wildest expectations as it is so strong and superbly stable. In fact, I'm so impressed and satisfied with this bench that I believe there is only one keyboard stand to go with it. That's the On-Stage KS7291 Pro Heavy-Duty Double-X Keyboard Stand which is also built like a tank. (I will be getting that next). The bench supports 360 lbs. and the stand supports 320 lbs. A perfect combination. Assembly was so simple a child could do it and the locking mechanism is a simple squeeze-and-adjust, then tighten the knobs to ensure it stays where you set it (although I don't see how it could even accidentally disengage). Also B&H did a fantastic job with delivery as there was no damage to the bench OR the box. If you're in the market for a keyboard bench then this is the one for you as it looks and feels like it's built to last a lifetime, unless you're unfortunately unlucky enough for yours to fall in the street and get run over by a dump truck because that's what it would take to damage this tank-like bench. You can see the outstanding quality just by looking at it, but when you pick it up it feels like a single piece of cast iron with a super solid pad on top. Well done On-Stage, very well done!

[21.8 lb] We have purchased this bench for our Auditorium grand which is used by several pianists/accompanists. The frustration with our mechanical turn the nobs to raise/lower bench is that each of us sets a different height for comfort. This bench turns a minute log task into a one second event - and zero frustration. And, this was so comparatively cost friendly. Happy!
