Increase the length of your Aquatica underwater housing's lens port via this 2.5" Port Extension Ring, in order to allow for the use of longer lenses or teleconverters. The ring is also designed to enable positioning of the front element of your lens as close as possible to the interior of the port, in order to minimize distortion for better image quality. See the Dimensions Chart to learn how to measure properly for an extension ring. This helpful accessory is compatible with all Aquatica DSLR camera housings.

A stainless steel locking mechanism ensures a secure connection between the ring and the lens port, while your camera housing's own locking mechanism connects the ring securely to the housing. The extension is crafted from a 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, which has been anodized for excellent resistance to corrosion. It features a depth rating of 295'.

With a Canon lens you would not be able to control the aperture at all. And whether you can focus the lens while on the extension tubes will depend on the specific lens you are using. Some lenses need to be attached directly to the camera to have focus control. [1.065 lb] Once you get one of these you can not go back to a default Aquatica viewer. Have mine on the 5DII housing. Easy to put on and off for travel. Setting up shots underwater is hard enough and this makes life easier especially if you are far sighted. Gives a full view of the viewfinder. Expensive but worth it. 5

The quality of its components, its ease of installation all make it well worth the 1K or more . . . Problems Encountered: Its weight may be an issue for some, especially since Aquatica's housings tend toward the heavier side . . . [1.065 lb] Recently I ordered this o ring as a replacement to my PT-059 Housing for my TG-6 Underwater camera. I use the camera for photos of shipwrecks and dive sites when I travel. This o ring worked perfectly (as it said it would) and was tested to 40 feet at a dive site in Tobermory Canada. Look forward to stocking up on more. Fast shipping and handling especially to Canada.
