Use this 2.5" Extension Ring to increase the length of your Aquatica underwater DSLR housing's port, thus enabling the use of longer lenses or teleconverters. The ring features a manual focus knob, which is compatible with a required focus gear. For complete compatibility information, please click on the links below to view the port charts.

In addition to adding length, the ring is designed to allow for positioning of the front element of your lens as close as possible to the interior of the port, in order to minimize distortion for better image quality. See the Dimensions Chart to learn how to measure properly for an extension ring.

A stainless-steel locking mechanism ensures a reliable connection between the ring and the port, while your camera housing's own lock connects the ring securely to the housing. The extension ring is crafted from a 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, which has been anodized for excellent resistance to corrosion. It features a depth rating of 295'.

A: The Backscatter No Burp O-rings (BS-M52-o-rings) are not compatible with the Backscatter M52 Air Lens. They are used with the BS-UWL-M52 Wide Angle Conversion Lens. The Backscatter M52 Wide-Angle Air Lens for Olympus PT Series Underwater Housings BH #BABSM52AIR, as with any wet mount lens, it is always a good idea to burp it once you have gotten into the water. The Backscatter M52 Wide Angle Air lens is no exception to that. The Air Lens does have larger cutouts on the back plate that does allow water to flow through very easily which in some cases make it unnecessary to burp the lens. With the lens attached to the camera housing, once you re in the water you can shake the camera housing with lens attached, and that should blow off any air bubbles that may have formed on the lens or the housing. The Backscatter No Burp O-rings (BS-M52-o-rings) are not compatible with the Backscatter M52 Air Lens. They are used with the BS-UWL-M52 Wide Angle Conversion Lens.

[295' / 90 m] I waited two months for my viewfinder to arrive from the company and it hasn't spent much time in its box. The quality of its components, its ease of installation all make it well worth the 1K or more . . . Problems Encountered: Its weight may be an issue for some, especially since Aquatica's housings tend toward the heavier side . . . Previous Equivalent Items Owned: Aquatica F3, F4, CP5000 Items I Recommend: Aquatica D2x, Aquatica D200 5

[1.2 lb] Good wide angle of view works well. Of course it uses various extension pieces so that I can fit both my regular zoom wide angle and a figheye lens without having to buy new domes. Beware it is quite large so packing was a bit of an issue. 5

[1.2 lb] Pictures come out tack sharp and you get great looking split images from this dome. I would like to see in the near future a cap/cover for the port when storing it. 5

[295' / 90 m] Once you get one of these you can not go back to a default Aquatica viewer. Have mine on the 5DII housing. Easy to put on and off for travel. Setting up shots underwater is hard enough and this makes life easier especially if you are far sighted. Gives a full view of the viewfinder. Expensive but worth it. 5
