When connected to a 2A USB battery pack or an AC adapter, the ONsite Relay can still be able to provide a constant supply of power to your camera, and thanks to the internal battery the system will support hot swapping of external power sources. An LED indicator light will shift from green to yellow to red to show battery percentage so that you will not accidentally lose power during a long time lapse or video production. This system is compatible with numerous camera systems through the use of a separately available coupler. This coupler fits into the battery compartment of your camera and acts as a dummy battery to supply power.

[Lithium] Works like a charm! Perfect for looooooong exposures or time lapse photography where you cannot afford to run out of power. Must be used with a separate battery pack but this system is the adapter for using it with Canon cameras. Tricky figuring out how to let the cord hang out from the bottom of the battery compartment in the camera, but once you find the hidden slot, it's easy to use! 5

[0.54 lb] Those small batteries in the Panasonic G85 cause nervousness, high blood pressure and panic attacks when you are recoding an extended presentation. Will the small battery die before the presentation is over? Now I can supply power to camera from a high capacity USB battery pack or AC. 5

[7.6 x 7 x 1.45"] 07/30/2020 - 1 month of ownership - heavy use for timelapse. Never gets hot, provides continuous power, and doesn’t add to the bulk of my gear bag. This power solution is lightweight and trustworthy. The price point will be determined by years of use, and I plan to update my review to reflect this products durability. Here’s a tip... Use a quality external battery source. I use Goal Zero. Cheap “power banks” you buy from a grocery store may not provide enough continuous power. I know this from experience and it goofed up a 6 hour TL. 5

[0.54 lb] Coupled with the camera appropriate cable, this system works great. If you do long time-lapses it is a must have. If your external power-pack is running low simply switch it to a new one without the camera losing power. I'm probably going to pick up another system for my wife's camera. 5
