A: The Denon X-Series AVR-X1800H 7.2-Channel Network A/V Receiver (B&H # DEAVRX1800H) has six HDMI inputs and one HDMI ARC/eARC output for TV audio return. All of these ports support HDCP 2.3 and would be able to carry 8K60p content.

Q: 7. Will this work with Mac OS X, like the CPS1500AVR?

A: I assume you are asking if the UPS software will shut down your MAC if the power fails? You will have to go on line to the units mfg. and read an owners manual. I bought my unit to retain power to my computers if the power failed. When I am doing a video render, I don't want my computer shut down until I am ready. A: The BH #CYCP1000PFCL has a 8 minutes at half load rating. Based on the M1 iMacs power draw this should put you in that range of run time.

Q: 9. What are the benefits of having a UPS with pure sine wave as opposed to a UPS with a stepped approximation to sine wave?

A: For most devices simulated sine wave is adequate. However, if you are backing up a device with an Active PFC (power factor correction) supply they require pure sine wave to operate correctly. Active PFC supplies are considerably more efficient than standard power supplies but need a clean input.

Q: 10. Can this UPS be remotely managed?

A: Yes, this CyberPower Smart App LCD UPS can be remotely managed, using the included PowerPanel Business Edition Software.

[24.75 lb] We bought this to protect our PC, network & cable box in case of outages or surges. Even though we have a generator, it takes about 30 seconds for it to kick in so we wanted this extra protection for our devices. It was easy to set up and so far works well (we tested it) 5

All seems to be working as expected, but the test will be if we lose power, which of course hasn't happened since installing the unit. But software monitoring the system is working fine, communication from the UPS to the computer is consistent, stats are interesting. Lots of stuff plugged into it, so far, so good. 5

[23 lb / 10.4 kg] It took about 3 minutes to connect the UPS to the computer, monitor, router, and other assorted equipment. After letting it charge up for the recommended 8 hours, I 'tested' it by pulling the power cord out of the wall socket. Everything continued as normal, as expected. Now, no worries if we do have a 'real' power failure. 5

[23 lb / 10.4 kg] This is a great way to have continuous power in case of an interruption. It will power anything plugged into it for about 20 minutes or until a generator kicks in. The battery in these units fails after multiple years of use. But the battery can be removed and charged and put back in the unit for more years of use. 5
