A: I sprayed it with additional waterproofer but honestly havent used it yet. I dont think there isanything that will keep our gear completely dry. Its well made and one can operate camera pretty easily with it on. If it completely fails (i dont expect that) it will be a wonderful handwarmer. A: I have used this at 7F temperature on a windy day for 2 hours and my hands were kept warm as well as the camera. It did get fogged up though so I had to unzip it a few times to clear up.
