Q: 1. Use of cotton batting concerns me because cotton is rotten if it gets wet; wish it were Thinsulate, Holofil, etc. How water-resistant is the shell in rain or wet snow?

A: I sprayed it with additional waterproofer but honestly havent used it yet. I dont think there isanything that will keep our gear completely dry. Its well made and one can operate camera pretty easily with it on. If it completely fails (i dont expect that) it will be a wonderful handwarmer. I may try it for a very cold football game just for the hand warming factor

Q: 2. Does anyone have experience using a lens heater while using the parka? While shooting the Milky Way, falling temperatures often create moisture condensation in the air (dew) making like fog on lens and shots are soft.

A: Yes a lens heater can be used when using the Ruggard DSLR Parka Cold and Rain Protector.

Q: 3. Will this work with a smaller mirrorless camera such as an Olympus OMD EM1 or is it too large?

A: From our experiences and reported customer reviews, it works best on medium/larger DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. The main factor for comfort and utility would be the overall size of the lens. Smaller ones on a mirrorless system might make the user feel like the camera is engulfed in the DSLR Parka.

Q: 4. Can someone share a picture of the case loaded with light stands?how many light stands will it fit? Thanks

A: No picture of this one. You might look here to get an idea. SKB X-Large ATA Stand Case with Wheels - holds Audio and Lighting Stands up to 49 1/2 x 20 1/4 x 13 1/2 B&H # SKH5020W

A: No foam at all.

Q: 8. Do they make this for the sony a7iii series camera's or is this the only one available. I was thinking of using it for my winter astro shoots to eliminate my lens fogging up. The other options seem to be very thin but this one looks to be padded which would help insulate lens and body ?

A: I have used this at 7F temperature on a windy day for 2 hours and my hands were kept warm as well as the camera. It did get fogged up though so I had to unzip it a few times to clear up.

Q: 9. Will this work with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens?

A: Yes, the Ruggard DSLR Parka Cold and Rain Protector for Cameras and Camcorders (Black) (B&H# RUPACLBV2) can handle any Canon DSLR or mirrorless photographic camera currently made (as of December 2021) with the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM Lens (B&H# CA70300ISII) mounted on it. (The mirrorless camera would presumably have an adapter on it as well.)

[400 V] This works perfectly, really glad I bought it. Very conveniently hides my tv and stereo cables behind the dresser without having the dresser sticking out form the wall. The USB chargers help alot too!

[7] I'm shocked (see what I did there?) that there aren't more options for low-profile, wall-mounted surge protectors. This one works exactly how I hoped. Great price, great utility, would buy again.

[400 V] I bought this for my home office to neaten up the tangle of wires from my growing collection of networking gear. I built a wooden rack and put all the network-related stuff on it, plugged into the rear outlets. It's not the fanciest set-up in the world, but it does the job.

I also like the front outlets, which are handy for portable device chargers and other sundry uses that don't merit a permanent connection.

The selling point for this particular UPS in my case was the cover over the power switch, which prevents accidentally turning it off. I know, it's a little thing; but I think it's an important one.

[1.4 lb] Very nice product. Good quality. Take note no indicator light if switched ON. But I like it that way.

[60,000 A] I bought this as a 2-pack and it was a good value. I needed to replace a couple of power strips and this was cost-effective, as well as giving me the flexibility of moving the UBB adapters as needed.

[125 VAC, 60 Hz] I needed a single power strip for all of my stereo equipment in a rack. I have a 20 amp circuit so I needed a power strip that could handle the load. This one does. The LEDs are very bright but I covered them with a dark cloth. I can still see them, but they're not a distraction. Keep in mind it requires a NEMA 20 amp receptacle with the turned blade.

[400 V] The right-angled plug makes this perfect for home use. You can plug this in and push your couch or desk right up against the wall without worrying about bending or tearing the cable.

Also a big fan of the USB plugs, now you don't have to sacrifice a plug on the surge protector just to charge your phone or tablet, sometimes USB bricks take up more than one plug so this is especially good to have.
