Designed to power audio signals in large-scale presentation rooms, training facilities, conference centers, and other situations in which background/foreground music is required, the AtlasIED DPA2402 2400W Networkable Power Amplifieris a 2400W multi-channel power amplifier featuring a network-based configuration for remote-web monitoring, as well as on-board DSP. Its four-channel setup can be configured in three different arrangements to meet the needs of any large-scale situation.

The unit is factory set to operate in a two-channel 70V mode, though it is designed to operate with low-impedance amplification as well; in those cases, you can configure the amplifier to handle loads of 4 or 8 Ohms. Additionally, the DPA2402 can be tweaked to simultaneously work in low- and high-impedance situations, allowing you to utilize 70 or 100V channels for background and paging, while dual 4 or 8 Ohm channels carry audio material in the foreground.

While the unit comes with four balanced line inputs, there's also an accessory slot which, if utilized, allows you to either add more analog inputs or route the unit into a Dante system. All inputs can be mixed into any amplifier channel, with each channel featuring an array of DSP tools such as EQs and limiters to tailor the sound for any room. Furthermore, outputs can be controlled through built-in pots or via the on-board GUI, and when networked, proprietary software will allow you to control various aspects of the DPA2402, or indeed, any DPA amplifier patched into the network. This unit takes up 2 RU of rack space.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the output ohms for the speakers?

A: its 4-8ohms

Q: 2. Can a powered subwoofer be connected to the REC OUT jacks?

A: The REC OUT on the Pyle Pro can be used with a powered subwoofer, however the signal output from this set of jacks is not affected by the master volume. If you turn down the main volume, the incoming signal is still fed to the connected device (subwoofer).

Q: 3. What is the speaker Output ohms for a pyle pro ptau45 mini 120 watt?

A: This amp has a 4 ohm speaker output.

Q: 4. I just read Bass, Treble, and Balance Controls YET if you look at the photo of the face --NO bass, NO treble, NO balance controls? Where are they?

A: To get to change the Bass, Treble, Balance, there is a button labeled Audio Functions press it and it goes thru all three choices to you can change it to how you like it.The EQ button gives you optional pre set sounds Classical, Flat, Pop, Jazz, JazzRock sounds best to me.I just wished it allowed 2 sets of speakers. I always make sure I turn the speakers down to off before I snap it off or on, so I don't blow anything..

Q: 5. Does this allow microphone to be used at same time with other sound source like aux? So is it a mini mixer+amplifier likely thing?

A: Correct: Switchable MIC PAGER and MIXING ModesSet to PAGER, the signal from AUX 1/AUX 2/CD will be attenuated BY -12dB and the signal from MIC will override to page (Auto Talkover), it is good for paging system. Set to MIXING, the signals from AUX 1/AUX 2/CD and MIC will be existed at the same time, it acts like playing at KARAOKE event.

Q: 6. Pyle Pro PTAU45 Mini 120 Watt x 2 Stereo Power Amplifier, can you plug in an iPod to the USB connection and listen to music, assuming you have speakers hooked up?

A: I never tried that because I have a Harmon Kardon BTA-10 Bluetooth receiver that I also bought at BH Photo connected to one of the Aux inputs. It works great and has an amazing receive distance. I got no strings on me!

Q: 7. I have an existing set of speakers going to my pool deck (Ch.2), and a set at the pool house (Ch.1). I'm looking to amplify the ones on the deck (Ch.2) so I have a balanced volume. Can I connect the existing speaker output (Ch.2) speaker to the input AUX. of this amplifier then run the speaker output from the amp to the pool deck and boost the volume?

A: Adjust the balance control.

Q: 8. What kind of mic do i need to use with this amp?

A: Use a dynamic type microphone: Example: Audio-Technica ATR1200 Cardioid Handheld Dynamic Microphone B&H # AUATR1200

Q: 9. Can I connect my nextbook for better sound?

A: You can hook up any audio source with an auxillary cord. I've used phones, iPads, and IPods without an issue so I'm assuming your Nextbook would be similar.

Q: 10. PTAU45 POWER STEREO AMP: What is the frequency response of this amp?

A: Frequency response is rated at 20Hz-20KHz. We connect all sorts of electronics to these and find there sound quality to be just fine for small to medium group listening. Your speakers will likely be the limiting factor if you choose to run these amps for these groups.

[> 6 V/µS] Perfect, easy integration with my SR6011 and definitely opened up my Vienna Acoustics Mozarts, which already sounded very nice but soundstage, detail and bass noticeably came alive after adding the MM7025.

It’s a quality piece that performs as advertised. I’m a fan and my only hesitation is wondering if I should have gone with the 7055 to let the rest of my main surround setup have 5 channels of clean power goodness. But I think this definitely covers the most critical ground and gives the 6011 some breathing room to handle center, surround, atmos and outdoor speaker duty. Amp and system runs cool with these speakers at 85 db+ listening (fan hasn’t kicked on that I’ve noticed) but will add cooling as needed or if my new Reserve R600s prove to be a bit less efficient.

All in all, highly recommended.

[Ethernet] I've used several of these for paging systems in large installations. Prefer these to Bogen any day. Clean, quiet and plenty of power.

[25.32 lb] Really great to hear the details otherwise lost in built in amplifiers. This is a bargain for what you get. Midrange is on-target, dynamic swings are much more evident in critical music listening, and the low end is really sweet. Runs much cooler than the built amplifier in a Denon x3700 AVR. Dedicated power is a huge improvement and really the only way to go!

[Internal] perfect for the half rack space I had available (compressor on other side) and keeps all my cords - amp, pre-amp, compressor hassle free and plugged into the back so I only need 1 outlet. Wasn't sure about the front outlet, but its perfect for my tuner...other solutions out there for cheaper, but not with the power conditioner, so I say well worth it.

[40 kOhms] This power conditioner was backordered for months, but it was well worth the wait. It's low profile easily fits in half a standard rack with ample switched and unswitched outlets, making it a versatile choice for studio or mobile applications.
