[Yes] This much lighter and easier to use strip box. The guide inside for the rods are really deep so it make impossible for the rods to get out. material snuggle around the light perfectly. Great quality very robust. :) 5

[Silver] No light leaks, good quality and thick material. One small thought is that the inner baffle sits further along the softbox than expected ( i.e. it seems quite close to the outer baffle). Wish the accompanying grid wasn't so expensive - costs almost as much as this lightbank. 5

[Yes] This soft box is perfect for my main light for headshots in the studio. I LOVE the deep recess on the front so I can control the side spill of the light without having to use a grid. Everything about this soft box is first class. The more you look at it the more you see the quality of construction. I was surprised that the material is noisy when moved, not like a parachute material, but the noise is not an issue for me. Also, the light is extremely even across the face. You get what you pay for. This should last forever. 5

[2.24 lb] Bought this to replace an identical Chimera box I've used for over 15 years. This one seems to be even better made. Chimera is built to last and helps you make beautiful light. If I had to work with only one modifier from here out, I'd use this one. Zero complaints. 5
