The fixture supports wired and wireless DMX control for remote dimming. A: The GVM SD80S Daylight LED Monolight is not made to work with a D-tap cable. And on battery only works with two NP-F batteries.

A: Yes this will work with Bowens mounts.

A: No, this light has a 60 degree beam angle. It cannot be adjusted. If you would purchase a different reflector, the beam angle would change according to the reflector.

Q: 4. What size in millimeters is the barrel of the DC power input to the light (male end)? I'm hoping to connect this light to a v-mount battery using a D-TAP to DC adapter.

A: I am sorry to say we are not aware of a D-Tap power cable which will work with this product.

A: Depending on your shoot, yes. Ive been very happy with these so far. Last week I shot in a room with open windows and a skylight in daylight and they still did the job. Very happy with these.

A: The GVM offers more output coming in at 91,500 Lux at 3.3' w/ Reflector where as the Nanalite offers 41,040 Lux at 3.3' w/ Reflector. Both units are close to the same when it comes to fan noise.

[Chimera Mount] I needed a bright LED for front of house lights with a throw of 50-75 feet. This did the trick. It can be adjusted for a soft or hard focus and zoomed in for a spotlight. It acts like one of those great old incandescents that I miss so much since going down the LED highway. The one problem I have with the light is that it is pretty long and I wanted to hang it on a light tree in the audience and I am a bit uncomfortable with that. But this is not a problem with the instrument or B&H Photo who sold me the light. It was just something I didn't put into the mix. But I would buy this product again and I do anticipate many happy years of use. 5

[10°] I bought four of these to incorporate into a permanent install, and to travel to smaller events. The lights were very easy to install - I was up and running in minutes. Programming is intuitive - from the menu on the back of the light, an IRC remote, and a lighting console. The only caveat to that is the ability to dim or turn off the lights. I had to set the light to a static color (like red), then turn the intensity of the color to 0%. This in effect turns off the light.
