A: The metal masks are only intended for use with the MagBeam with the wide angle lens. The MagBeam has a holder for the masks built-in. You are not able to use the MagMasks with the old version gel holder and it will not produce any results

A: This can be tricky the first time you attempt it. The barn doors are held on very securely. I find it easiest to remove the grid first and then the barn doors after that. If you twist the side that clips to the head it will come right off.
