The Celestron NexImage 10 Solar System Imager (1.25")from Celestron NexImage 10 Solar System Imager (1.25")is a powerful update from its earlier iteration with a larger and higher-resolution imaging sensor, longer exposure capability, and - most notably - high-speed USB 3.0 connection to your computer for fast data transfer. This color astroimager is designed to capture images of the Moon, planets, and the Sun (when used with the proper filter systems) within our solar system. It's compatible with any telescope that accepts 1.25" eyepieces and accessories, or you can directly connect it to a C-mount threaded back.

An ON Semi MT9J003 color CMOS sensor captures 3856 x 2764 resolution images with exposure speeds from 0.0001 to 10 seconds. Using a color imager lets you capture full-color images across the entire visual spectrum without having to attach or change filters. The included Registax software analyzes each frame of video, throws away the ones affected by atmospheric turbulence, and perfectly aligns the best frames. With the ability to tweak settings such as gamma, sharpness, RGB balance, and color mixing, the resulting stacked single image is bright, clear, and focused.

[3856 x 2764] Nice camera for the price. Images are sharp and clear. However, there is a learning curve for using the software that comes with it. Lots of "how to" You Tube videos to assist you how it works.

[2.0 oz / 57.0 g] I love it. It is more than I had expected it to be for the price and it works very well. I like the software that comes with it and as a new recruit to astrophotograpy, I should be able to learn a lot by using this camera and not outgrow it for some time to come.

[3856 x 2764] Not just inexpensive, but work great as well. I've found that the ND and orange together work well for the Moon. Orange alone also works for the Moon. Blue is my favorite for Jupiter. A very nice set of filters.

[5.8 x 5.5 x 2"] Probably the best purchase of the year! Works great with my telescope, and my lab microscope as well! Very intuitive software, that allows precise control of the camera functions. With an additional C-mount adapter can be used with a regular lens for indoor and outdoor scientific video recordings. Rugged casing, well protected aperture. The USB cable is a bit heavy, probably can be replaced with Anker's USB3 Micro-B superflex cable.
