Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can I use this extension kit with a Nikon D60?

A: You should be able to use this with any F-Mount lens camera, but it will be only manual focus and build quality is not the best.

Q: 2. Will this work on an eos rebel T6i?

A: Yes, the FotodioX Macro Extension Tube Set for Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) Cameras would be compatible for use with the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T6i DSLR camera.

Q: 3. Will this work with a Canon 80d? That's the only camera I don't see on the list.

A: The FotodioX Macro Extension Tube Set for Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) Cameras: for Extreme Close-Up Photography will work with all EF, and EF-S lenses, and will connect to cameras using the Canon EOS EF, or EF-S lenses. There are some newer cameras that are not on the compatibility list, such as the Canon 70D, 80D, 7D mark II, the 6D, mark II, and 5D mark IV among others. These cameras are not listed because the extension tube set became available before some of these canon cameras were available, and the list is not complete at all.

Q: 4. I assume these various tubes screw together to form one long extension tube. Are the screw threads a 52mm thread as you would find in a standard filter? Or do the tubes use a bayonet to join together instead of a screw thread?

A: These are bayonet Nikon f mount

Q: 5. What is the the extension tubes' screw thread size?

A: The FotodioX Macro Extension Tube Set for Canon EOS (EF, EF-S) Cameras: for Extreme Close-Up Photography does not have a screw thread size: one end of each tube is compatible with a Canon EF camera and the other end is compatible with an EF or EF-S lens.

Q: 6. Is it compatible with Nikon 850? Any other better kit, suggestions?

A: The FotodioX Macro Extension Tube Set for Nikon F-Mount Cameras: for Extreme Close-Up Photography is a manual macro extension tube set that would be compatible for use with the Nikon D850 DSLR Camera. If you want a set of macro extension tubes that will retain automatic electronic communication between the camera and lens (which would allow you to retain autofocus and automatic exposure capability), the Vello EXT-ND2 Auto Focus Extension Tube Set for Nikon F-Mount Camera and Lenses, B&H # VEEXTND2, would also work for your usage needs.

Q: 7. Can these lens work with the Canon 28 mm macro lens?

A: Yes they will fit the Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM Lens.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with Fuji XT2?

A: Yes, it is compatible with the XT2.

Q: 9. what's the diameter of the threaded spacing ring? It that compatible of an ordinary step-up/step down ring?

A: We cannot find any information suggesting that these rings can use step-up rings.

Q: 10. Could you put a adapter on the end for a Nikon Micro-Nikkor 55mm f/3.5 and use it to scan film on sony e mount cameras?

A: It will work but I would advise getting an adapter with an adjustable aperture ring or if the lens itself has an aperture ring you can control.

[Close-Up] The macro set works well to add magnification for macro shooting especially for those of us not ready to buy an expensive macro lens.
The set includes 4 compatible lens to allow combinations to achieve selected magnification.

[0.29 lb] I actually bout a different set of these for my other lenses because I couldn't believe they were as good as they were for the price. I have used them every day since I bought them for a special project. As good as my more expensive sets. Highly recommend!

[Close-Up] I wanted to take extreme close-ups, and I thought the options were, in order of expense, macro tubes/extenders and macro lenses. Someone mentioned magnifying filters so I headed to B&H and found this set for under $12. That's under 3 bucks a piece. I put the 4x filter on, and wow! A whole new world. Not pro, obviously, but I live the results, and I've learned how to focus (a skill to learn indeed) and use flash in close-up mode. The glass is good enough, but the blurry edges and color aberrations create interesting effects for video. So for $3 a piece, what's stopping you?!
