Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can you use just one 1/4 output for all mic’s

A: The Samson Stage 412 Frequency-Agile Quad-Channel Handheld VHF Wireless System does provide a single mixed output for all four microphones, but it uses an XLR connector, not 1/4". If you need to connect to a 1/4" input, you can use an XLR female to 1/4" male cable.

Q: 2. With an adapter to a 3.5 mm jack, can I connect the audio output directly to my camcorder's mic input?

A: Technically you could but it is not recommended. The receiver sports a line level output whereas your camcorder sports a mic level input, which may cause clipping or other undesirable effects.

Q: 3. what kind of cable is used to connect this to spekers?

A: This unit is not designed to directly run speakers, unless they are combined powered amplifier/speakers. Its line level output is designed to feed into a mixer and/or amplifier which in turn drives speakers. The output connection is a single 1/4 monaural jack.

Q: 4. Can it be connected with Public address system is speaker output.

A: Yes it can via the rear output port.

Q: 5. Can two of these units be used together to provide 8 microphones?

A: Yes, you can actually use up to three of the Samson Stage 412 Frequency-Agile Quad-Channel Handheld VHF Wireless Systems (173 to 198 MHz) simultaneously for up to 12 wireless microphones.

Q: 6. Is there a way to just get the stick mic? I already have the receiver with my lav mic. It looks like they are the same frequency.

A: hello, I got an offer only with mic. it is sometimes possible. in response to your question, yes is the same frequency.

Q: 7. what is the range of the mics?

A: About 50-75' maximum, line of sight, no obstructions.

Q: 8. Does the case of this tripod have a noticeable chemical smell?

A: There is often a slight odor of the case provided with the E-Image Studio Tripod with Geared Center Column and Fluid Head Kit from the factory, but if it is too strong, do air out the bag.

Q: 9. How many of this system can be use simultaneously?

A: I bought two, for each of my granddaughters. They use them simultaneously without any problems.

Q: 10. I was wondering how to use these microphones to record a meeting with my PC?

A: Analog 3.5mm input and output connectors can be switched between mic and line level operation, and also have the ability for both inputs and outputs to be mixed to a single channel. Connect to your PC's microphone inpuut.

[4.035 lb] After trying numerous follow focus systems including ones that were from the “best” manufacturers, we still had issues getting reliability out of a wireless FIZ control system, and poor customer service even from vendors charging a very high premium for their products. Finally we tried Chroziel and not only did their magnum system work flawlessly, their customer service is great, and best of all if you are using Canon Cine Servo lenses it works natively with them so you don’t need to use as many motors for FIZ control, or depending on the lens you may not need any (i.e Canon 50-1000). This all makes for a reliable, and much more self contained system than any other on the market. I wouldn’t even consider a brand other than Chroziel for FIZ control after using the Magnum.

[4.035 lb] This Samson equipment is a very cost effective unit for Church audio systems. Easy to setup, instruct on usage and the performance of this unit is excellent for the money. Will purchase again for the next installation where a budgeted amount is of concern.

[B] Once I figured out the colored rings around the top and bottom of the microphones it was very easy to set up. One mic comes pre set as mic A and one as mic B. I figured that, used the IR to set it and I was off and running. I can set this up with my Fender Passport Event or my smaller Anchor Audio AC 130+. This was $ less than the Shure microphone set up and I very happy that I purchased this over the Shure.

[10 mW EIRP] This was used with a Samson Expedition XP800 amp/mixer/speakers system for an all day event with about 100 people under a large tent. The system was easy to set up and connect with the XP800. The microphones worked very well. For the small microphone, you have the choice of clipping a lapel clip to it or a headset/boom. We used the lapel clip. Be sure to clip it near the center of the body for best pickup. Our first user clipped it a bit to the side, and every time he turned his head the other way, his voice trailed off. With it clipped to a shirt under the chin,, the pickup was remarkable and clear. The instructions state that the mics need AA alkaline batteries and they will last about 8 hours, and don't use rechargeable batteries. These mics were used a lot and did die after about 8 hours. Next time I would use Energizer Lithium batteries for a very long event.
A couple of times the microphone popped off of the lapel clip when the speaker had muted their mic and was working with their hands and not paying attention. It clips back on easily.
