The 24" A3 (Hypercardioid) from Countryman is a podium condenser microphone designed to provide clear voice reproduction for use in meetings, conventions, lectures, and houses of worship. It features dual capsules tuned for clarity, wide frequency response, low noise, and a high maximum SPL of approximately 130 dB.

Integrated damping, along with the dual-cartridge design, attenuates thumps, rumble, vibration, and handling noise. The mic’s shielding and circuit design protect it from picking up interference from radio frequencies. The supplied windscreen reduces the level of breaths and plosives.

A standard XLR 3-pin male connector allows you to connect it to most mixers and mic preamps. The A3 is powered by 48 VDC phantom power. A protective case is included.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. what is MFP and PCL?

A: MFP stands for multi function printer. PCL is a type of printer language that this particular printer supports.

Q: 2. Are there any frames used to hold 5x7 glass negatives

A: The Epson Expression 13000XL Archival Scanner does not have frames for 5x7 glass negatives, but thick originals like that can be scanned.

Q: 3. I have an arri alexa classic. Would like to know if this bag will fit a rigged out Alexa, with mattebox and monitor (and maybe even v mount battery attached)?

A: With the ARRI Alexa Classic, you will have room for 7 inches in length, 3.5 inches in width, and less than 3 inches in height when using the Tenba Cineluxe Roller 24. You should be able to fit a rigged Alexa in this bag.

Q: 4. shouldn't the swivel adapter fit better onto the light stand? mine does not sit flush onto the light stand.

A: Many light stands (conveniently) have a ¼”x20 or ⅜”x16 threaded stud on top. These conflict with most ⅝” accessory receivers. If you pop a ⅝” round stud on top of the stand, the accessory will sit flush and be a bit more secure. $5 fix and a better fit: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1305583-REG

Q: 5. What are the significant differences between the new 13000XL and the 12000XL it is replacing?

A: There are no significant changed between the 12000 and 13000 models. The 13000 was made to be more compatible with the newer Apple processors. This really had no affect on Windows users.

Q: 6. Are film holders necessary for scanning negatives? If so, where can I find them?

A: The Epson Expression 13000XL Archival Scanner with A3 Transparency Unit comes with these film holders: 2 x 35mm Film Holder 2 x Mounted Slide Holder 2 x Medium Format Film Holder 2 x 4 x 5" Film Holder

Q: 7. Will a Nikon Z 70-200 S 2.8 will stand up "comfortably", i.e. not protrude to the point where it needs laying flat? Thanks :)

A: Yes, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S Lens can stand up vertically in the Tenba Roadie Roller 24.

Q: 8. what setup support will B&h help with?

A: We offer tech support by phone. You can also call Epson for tech support by phone as well.

Q: 9. Is this carry on size? or would it need to be checked-in?

A: This is definitely not carry-on size. However, all the Roadie 18 and 21 models are carry-on size.

Q: 10. Is the shell of the Roadie 24 as rigid as the Roadie Air Case Roller 21? In the images, the shell of the 24 seems thinner.

A: The Tenba Roadie Air Case Roller 21 would offer thicker padding over the Tenba Roadie Roller 24.

[Hypercardioid] I have two Isomax 4RF microphones used at church. The 24-inch Cardioid we use at he Lord's table and a 18-inch Supercardioid on the podium. Compared to numerous other brands, the Isomax is very tolerant of feedback, has a very rich tone even using a flat EQ and is hotter than comparable microphones. While we need acoustic panels to improve clarity in our auditorium, this microphone help significantly to overcome the loss of clarity due to poor acoustics. It is a great microphone and comes in a plastic tube for protection. Another attribute is it ability to not pick up background noise from bumping the podium.

[0.93 lb] Out of the box it worked great with no EQ'ing... best gain before feedback I've had yet. Did I mention it also sounds WONDERFUL. Really captures the exact voicing of our speakers.
