I wouldn't connect a long tele to this rig,usually I'd have it attached to a monopod and if I need to use the other body with a shorter lens I just lean the monopod/lens against my body with the lens over my shoulder.You don't need to add uneccessary weight on your body esp. attached to the harness.

A: I would get the standard. In my opinion there is no point to the slim. I'm a 110lb. 5'4 girl and I use the standard. Better weight distribution over a wider area.
