Q: 1. Is the Canvas material a thicker canvas like the one pictured or is it different? I bought and received one that was a different material.

A: I have several Domke bags, the oldest about 15+ years. The canvas material on all of them is pretty much the same. The only products that have a thinner canvas material are the F900 and F901 pouches.

Does the interior lining of the bag cause camera (and lens hood) abrasion? i.e. Will the edges of a 5D-size camera get develop a worn/polished appearance from repeated removal and insertion of the camera into the bag? The reason I ask this is because the outside edges of my 350D have a very polished appearance after being in a Domke J803 bag for several years. I used a 3 section insert in that bag.

A: This issue should not happen with this specific bag. I have heard that issue on other models. but with different colors. I do not think you will have this issue.

Q: 4. Will this bag hold a D7500 with 18-300 lens attached, rearranged, with the camera horizontal in the bag? It might be on its side but prefer not. Want a grab and go bag, have used a Domke before for that and like them. Thanks.

A: I do not have an iPad but do have a tablet with a case. The dimensions are: 5x8x1 . That does fit in the back outside pocket snuggly. For the front pocket, there is more room. P.S. I love the bag.

Q: 6. Does the top flap have a mesh pouch for holding small accessories?

A: Unfortunately, the Canon EOS 200ES lacks a mesh pouch under the top flap.

Q: 7. The zippered opening in the bottom front of the bag is a clever idea. How big is the opening? Could I get an 81mm diameter lens in and out of the bottom of the bag?

A: Although Domke does not publish a measurement for the bottom zippered flap, it is meant to retrieve items that have fallen to the bottom of the bag rather than to store a lens.
