The AcousticPerformance Series Loudspeaker from QSC is a professional, two-way, full-range loudspeaker ideal for a variety of portable and installed sound reinforcement applications requiring high power, wide coverage and compact size. The speaker uses a 12” woofer with 2.5” voice-coil and a coaxially mounted high power-capacity, 1.75” voice coil compression driver to deliver full bandwidth reproduction. The uniform power-response of the speaker is a result of DMT (Directivity Matched Transition), a design philosophy which matches the HF waveguide to the natural conical coverage of the woofer at the cross-over point. The result is a remarkably consistent coverage with smooth, accurate reproduction both on and off-axis. To further enhance system performance and speed of install with optimum result, proprietary Intrinsic Correction tunings are obtainable via Q-SYS networked audio processing platforms, including CXD and PLD amplifiers for a complete QSC systems solution.

The speaker’s enclosure is of 15mm Baltic Birch plywood construction, designed for versatile deployments. The multipurpose enclosure features both 60° and 40° angles for use as floor monitors, M10 mounting points for suspension via eye-bolts or optional yoke bracket, top handle, and a tilt direct pole cup. Presenting a clean, unobtrusive look, AcousticPerformance grilles are unadorned eliminating the need to cover-up logo treatments which can be difficult to hide or remove. The grille is lined with acoustically transparent backing to maintain the enclosure’s professional appearance. The loudspeaker’s recessed input cup features two NL4 connectors for convenient input and pass through.

A: I know why you’re asking. Seems like it won’t align horizontally. But I just ended up pretty much brute forcing it by turning it till it went into proper alignment. Never tried to get it off.

A: I use my SR80e headphones with a FiiO X1 and it is fantastic with all kinds of music. It is loud enough with the X1 and I just love the combination, the detail is very good and the music (mainly pop music as well as classical) is fun to listen to. You can't go wrong!!!

A: The barrel sizes for the Tilta L-Series Battery Plate outputs are DC 5.5 X 2.5mm, which will fit in the 12V DC, and the DC 5.5 x 2.1mm, which will fit in the 8V DC. One is DC 12V:DC55-25:5.5-2.5mm, One is DC 8V:DC5521:5.5-2.1mm.

Q: 10. Is the Anvil series as weatherproof on its own as Epedition series was?

A: It comes with a rain cover. I'd say, yes it's capable of handling a light drizzle for a short period (like the Expedition) but wouldn't want to be on a hike during a good rain without the cover.

[4 Ohms] I bought 2 of these speakers to run out smaller workshop events with and to have them be the lead loudspeakers for our 500+ festivals where we rent 4-6 other similarly sized units. The vocals and cleanliness of music at nearly all volumes in unmatched. We love that these have a lot of manual controls (DEEP, flat, external sub + Vocal boost, normal) outside of the mixer to further tailor what we're using them for in any given set. Yes, these have the DEEP effect which adds a substantial amount of low end if you don't want to tie in subwoofers. Love them. 5

[22 x 19 x 19"] Decided to purchase this specific model and shopped around for the beat deal. Not only did B&H have them listed as the lowest price similar to sweet water & guitar center. They threw in speaker stands, cables and carrying case with a bonus Bluetooth module! 5

[4 Ohms] This is among the best keyboard amps I have used for the combination of portability, bass response without booming and just plain clear true even frequency response. I do not miss anything on the bottom register for it being only a 12 speaker. With any of various piano emulations on my various keyboards, it is as close to playing a grand piano as any amp and speaker combination I have used and that is compared to a Peavy KB 100 and a Peavy Bandit. Hammond and other organ and synth emulations come thru cleanly as well. Could not be more satisfied. 5

[4 Ohms] These protect the speakers very well. In the past I had no covers and the speakers would get beat up and look like they just came off a international road show. These covers/Totes keep them looking new...I like them very much. 5

[22 x 19 x 19"] I've had a pair of these for a few years now. They work very well as stage monitors. I use mine primarily as a monitor for my keyboards when performing. There is a multi-position switch that changes the EQ depending on the listening mode, but I usually leave it in Stage Monitor mode. Inputs are combination XLR / 1/4 TRS jacks. However, the daisy-chain connection to another monitor is XLR only - not 1/4 TRS, which is a pain in the neck sometimes. And the volume setting on the first monitor determines the maximum volume setting on any daisy-chained monitors. Overall, a very rugged monitor that has been dropped a few times and taken its share of abuse, but has never failed me. And it's a lot smaller and lighter than comparable stage wedges. To make sure I never lose the power cord, I have caribiners on the handle and the AC cord that I just snap together when transporting it. B&H occasionally has sales on these and also bundles (stand and XLR cable) - jump on those sales when available! 5

[4 Ohms] We installed two of these in a large space, that honestly needed about three times that many cabinets for coverage. We knew they would have to run at a high volume to be effective and they were! We powered them with the QSC RMX 2450 amp. They were clean, strong and tight. The client was happy and of course, so were we! 5
