The PRX835W is designed to match the PRX815XLF or PRX818XLF subwoofers (separately sold), offering a high-performance, self-powered sub/satellite system.

The speaker utilizes two 750W Class-D amplifiers delivering a total of 1500W to the 15" woofer, 6.5" midrange driver, and 1.5" compression driver, which combine to offer a frequency range of 42 Hz to 20 kHz at 138 dB maximum SPL output, plenty of output to cover audiences of up to 400.

The built-in Wi-Fi offers wireless control of the system from anywhere in the venue, using the free PRX Connect app for iOS and Android devices. The app controls levels, parametric EQ, user presets, and up to 50ms of user-defined delay to fine-tune your setup. The durable 18mm plywood enclosure is coated with an Obsidian DuraFlex finish and a powder coated steel grille with acoustical transparent black cloth backing.

[0 to 50 ms] Setup was easy. Great kit. I do wish the center control panel had a stand instead of being on the floor or table. The microphone cord has a jack as opposed to the three pronged thingy. 5

[1x Each Side] I had heard of DAS before but I had no idea that they had something other than Line Arrays. This sounds like a REAL Das setup at a size I can take with me to all event. Really worked out for me 5

[138 dB (Peak)] With our limited budget, we bought this PA system for our senior community for use for events and dances in our community center and for outdoor events and concerts on the lawn. Indoors, the system in clear and has far more volume than we would ever use when using the mics or audio recordings from a computer or portable CD player. Outdoors, we needed a system capable of covering an area up to about 50 to 60 feet from the stage. Near the stage, the system again is capable of greater volume than we would ever need. At the far ends of the lawn, the system has enough volume to be clearly heard by the audience. The mic that comes with the PA system has a little more volume than the 2 additional mics added to the kit, but all are more than adequate for vocal use outdoors. But being vocal mics, the speaker has to be fairly close to the mics. This is not a problem for vocal use but they didn't work quite as well when used with musical instruments where being close to the instrument may interfere with the player. But this is only an issue when using the system outdoors near it's limits . Overall, we are very satisfied with this package, which with the mixer/amp, 2 speakers, 3 mics, 2 mic stands and 2 speaker stands give us everything the we need in a system is relatively light weight (a concern for seniors) and easy to setup and use. 5

[Limiter] This padded soft cover is a perfect fit and protects the speakers from minor dings and dirt. It will not protect like a hard case but it inexpensive and a good level of protection for routine transport of the speakers. 5
