Designed for use with small and medium Cyclone windshields, this 10.2" Rycote 3-Pin XLR Male to Female Cable for Cyclone (10.2'')allows you to use these windshield models with a wide range of shotgun microphones. It uses ultra-soft, flexible Mogami cable and gold-pin Neutrik XX-series XLR connectors. The right-angled female XLR connects to your mic inside the Cyclone, while the straight male XLR output locks in an angled position on your lightweight boom adapter, allowing secure attachment to internal or external pole cables and plug-on transmitters.

[Red] This cable is more than adequate for my needs. I use it as an auxiliary power supply off the NRG transformer I use for my Sony DSR-250. The only drawback is that it doesn't use heavy-duty cable. It's simply two-pole, almost zip-cord. I don't know how rugged it will prove to be. 5

[0.2 lb] I'm doing a series of round table discussions around the country with eight talent in each discussion session. Because i'm flying to each location, space and weight are at a premium so I'm using a Zoom F8 mixer, HOSA Little Brother 50-foot sub snake and eight dpa 4061 lavaliere microphones plus accessories and a slate. Everything has to fit in a carry in a small roller case and a small back pack so i don't have to check any bags. I'm using eight of the 10-foot Remote Audio cables to split off from the sub snake to feed the lavalieres. I carry a few-25 foot XLR cables as back up's if I need a little bit more reach. The 10-foot cables made all the difference in the world for space and weight constraints due to air travel. I've used Remote Audio cables for over a decade without a single cable failure. Remote Audio makes them tight and right. 5

[0.2 lb] Not much to say other than it's a standard XLR cable. I bought it to connect my podcasting mic to an audio interface, and it felt nice and secure on both ends when I plugged it in. Even though it only connects things from one side of my desk to another, in retrospect I would've gone a length or two up rather than pick the 5' option. 5
