Q: 5. Hi there, do you sell any UV Filters for this Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens? Is it possible to buy the lens and UV filter together from you?

A: B&H has a wide variety of filters, including 67 mm filters which fit this lens. I never buy a lens without purchasing a UV filter for it, and I like to have a circular polarizer for all my lenses. B&H has a wide range of both for this lens and I ordered both with it. I chose a Hoya NXT UV filter and a Hoya NXT CIR-PL, but you will find a wide variety, some costing less, and some more. You can speak with a B&H rep who can help you understand the choices, but it's up to you. And I highly recommend that you order at least a UV filter when you buy the lens, if only to protect the lens. Every lens I own has a UV filter which stays on all the time.

[Rip-Lock] I initially learn about the Rip-Tie hook and loop straps when I was working at a film and video production company. This company had a lot of cables to deal with - power cables on portable equipment, video and audio cables in the studio and on location and others. These 1 x 6 ties are good for AC power cables up to about 8 to 10 feet long. If you're using cables longer than that go to the Rip-Tie site and check out their other tie wrap products. For lighter cables, like those used with audio or flash equipment, they offer narrower tie wraps that are much more convenient than this one inch wide model.

[0.115 lb] I seriously love these things! I've put them on everything in my light kit that has or is a cable. I'm a little OCD about organization and keeping my Pelican case full of equipment tidy. These cable wraps are great for doing just that.

[0.115 lb] I love the way this product keeps my cables neat and organized. Some people tie rope around their cables, but on a cold day when you have to wear gloves, that is impossible. With the Velcro ties, you never have to take your gloves off.

[Nylon] Definitely the way to go in terms of cables organization and management.

[0.115 lb] Traditionally, I've purchased hook and loop cable wraps from a different company. However, I've witnessed a systematic drop in quality over the years. I thought I'd give Rip-Tie cable wraps a try. Rip-Tie cable wraps are by far the best I've used. Although they are they are nearly twice the price, they are also approximately twice the width of cable wraps I've used in the past. They are well designed and built. I will definitely be purchasing more. These are now my cable wraps of choice.

[0.115 lb] Bought and used a lot of other brands and cheaper versions of the same thing. Rip-Ties are drastically wider and stronger than the rest. Go with the best.

[Nylon] Fantastic for tidying up the Grip&Lighting box when all the strobe cords have been given the CableWrap treatment. No more rats nests. I attached mine at the male end of each cord, that allows for release of only needed length from power source whether that be battery pack, extension cord or wall outlet. Buy the right size according to your cable diameter times the number of coils and don't look back!

[Rip-Lock] Rip Ties are great to have. Although they have been around a long time, don't over look the usefulness in reducing the stress of wrapping cables. These shorter ones are good for short, 10-15 foot 14 and 12 gauge cables. Read instruction though! They are simple to attach,, but can be done incorrectly so they are less effective.
