[Nylon] I initially learn about the Rip-Tie hook and loop straps when I was working at a film and video production company. This company had a lot of cables to deal with - power cables on portable equipment, video and audio cables in the studio and on location and others. These 1 x 6 ties are good for AC power cables up to about 8 to 10 feet long. If you're using cables longer than that go to the Rip-Tie site and check out their other tie wrap products. For lighter cables, like those used with audio or flash equipment, they offer narrower tie wraps that are much more convenient than this one inch wide model.

[0.2 lb] I love the way this product keeps my cables neat and organized. Some people tie rope around their cables, but on a cold day when you have to wear gloves, that is impossible. With the Velcro ties, you never have to take your gloves off.

[0.2 lb] Bought and used a lot of other brands and cheaper versions of the same thing. Rip-Ties are drastically wider and stronger than the rest. Go with the best.

[Rip-Lock] I must admit I am very particular and organized. This product is excellent. I attached one to each of my strobe power cords and they keep everything together for easy setup and take down on location shoots. If you have longer cables I suggest purchasing the next length but for 6-8 foot strobe power cords they are perfect.

[Nylon] I could go on and on about this CableWrap, but why? We'd both suffer. Suffice to say these are good wraps and decently priced. The big plus is that I got it at B&H and I love these guys. ... Just amazing. So stop reading this and GET ORDERING!!

[0.2 lb] These ties work well. Previously I had purchased the 6 ties, but they were a tad too small. These 9 are just the right length for small bundles of cables.

[Rip-Lock] bought something different from another vendor ...was a waste of money...these wrapes are exactly what we need for extention cords and video cables when on the road easy and organized ...

[Rip-Lock] Simply to install - but look at instructions! Remember real men DO read instructions. I have seen these mounted incorrectly on cables and then they don't work very good. When mounted correctly, they easily tie up stubborn AC power cables - especially if you purchase cables that aren't specifically made as video production stingers. (Those cables wrap better and have their own ties) This 9 inch variety are good for standard 14 or 12 gauge cables up to about 35 feet.

[Rip-Lock] I seriously love these things! I've put them on everything in my light kit that has or is a cable. I'm a little OCD about organization and keeping my Pelican case full of equipment tidy. These cable wraps are great for doing just that.
