[Synthesizer] I ordered the GoPlug Power Bank knowing it would come in handy sooner or later. Just a few days after receiving it, I found out that we had to shoot a driving scene at the end of a long day and I needed to come up with a solution to power a Sony card reader so that I could offload the data on the long ride back to basecamp. The GoPlug Power Bank did the trick with lots of charge to spare.

[Synthesizer] I've owned various Ravpower and Anker chargers over the years and picked this one up for the more unique pink color, which will help me pick it out at crowded outlets and from my bag. I was nervous from the pictures that it would be a toy-like Hello Kitty pink, but rather it's a stony, sophisticated, Scandinavian pink, like something you'd find in a Hay design store. Charging functions are great, it is fairly light and provides just the right amount of charge for a full day out of heavy use (plus some extra juice for a friend). The only nitpick, if I can think of any, is that the blue lights stay on for a strangely long time, and the power button is tiny. But overall form factor is lovely.

[Synthesizer] I have the rack mount version of the BBE Sonic maximizer, and I
must say the plug-in sounds just like the original. When I process
digital copies of my rare vinyl LP records and saved soundtracks from
my DVD collection, the 3 plug-ins (Harmonic Maximizer, Mac 3 Bass
and Sonic Maximizer) produce a digital output that is very loud but
crisp, so I decided to only use the Sonic Maximizer plug-in. This plug-
ins bundle works only on a 64-bit compatible DAW software like
Audacity 3.4.2 running under Win10/MacOS Operating system. One
has to use one plug-in at a time in Audacity to process digital
recordings. Audacity 3.4.2 automatically detects the BBE Sonic Sweet
plug-ins after installation. Audacity can only use VST and VST3 plug-in
types. The 4 uploaded images depict how the BBE Sonic Maximizer
plug-in is used in Audacity 3.4.2.

[Synthesizer] This power bank adapter by Smallrig is ALMOST the perfect solution. I wanted to find a way to mount my Anker 737 power bank to my gimbal so my camera doesn't run out of battery on long shoots and after a lot of research I found this one. The reason why I chose this one is because it uses a flexible strap to secure your power bank but the reason why I say "almost the perfect solution" is because I have to stretch the strap to the max to get my power bank on there. I understand this adapter isn't designed to hold large power banks which is why I still give a 5 star. So overall this adapter is the best solution if you're looking for one. Just know if you have a 2 inch thick power bank you'll most likely be able to put it on, you'll just have to stretch it to the max.

[Synthesizer] This is my seventh virtual piano. See my review of the Bösendorfer also by VSL — this is just as supremely recorded and I prefer the Steinway sound. It's hard to see how anyone will ever do any better than this. There are 10 different microphone positions (plus the room mix which incorporates several of them in the standard library; I think the full library gives added richness). I use eight of them (not the Main or the main-C) and the plate reverb at 30% which I like better than the algorithmic reverb or the delay. If you can't afford the full, the standard will still be superior to anything else out there.
