[Wood] This thing is high quality as with all of Wooden Camera's products. I have it on the C100 top plate to hold the C100 handle. Easy to install.

[0.6 lb] I'm working on an intensive personal project this year and decided to build up a sled system for my SONY FS-100. Basis for the sled is a Berkey System with rails and a Berkey top cheese plate. The NATO handle is mounted on a quick release NATO rail on the top cheese plate. A Rycote INV-HQ mkIII shock mount is mounted on top of the NATO handle and holds a Sennheiser MKH-50 mic with a Cinela LEO Ball and fur for wind suppression. I can easily remove the handle with the mic intact and store in my Orca case for transport. The entire rig without a follow focus or matte box tips the scale slightly over 11 pounds, so having a solid handle is every bit of a necessity as much a convenience. The Wooden Camera NATO system is not only well designed and versatile but it has a flawless build quality. I've hand built a custom Harley from the ground up so I know quality machining when I see it. Easily mounted forward or backward position and has so many possible options for mounting and positioning other items on it. Super easy to remove from the NATO quick release rail. Wooden Camera customer service is second to none and I always have had prompt--if not immediate--responses to any questions. A top notch product from a top notch company that deserves your consideration and support. This is a perfect example that you get what you pay for in terms of quality and service.

[Single Handgrip] I wanted to try a handle on the right hand side of my Tilta Advance S1H cage, and find this works as expected. The handle is a bit small, but still functional. The ability to be used on either side of the cage, and the range of height adjustments make it a good solution. The top has 1/4x20 screw holes and a cold shoe receiver for mounting accessories, which will come in handy as my S1H rig gets a bit crowded. There is an Allen wrench held in place with a magnet, which is handy. The wood parts of the handle look nice, and are more comfortable than bare metal or plastic. I will likely cover the handle with tennis racket tape for better grip.

[Single Handgrip] I use this on the Wooden Camera C100 top plate, and it fits perfectly on my C100 MKI. I can mount the C100 handle with the XLR inputs, and still have the top plate handy for mounting monitors, lights, etc. As usual, Wooden Camera's products are top notch. And B&H, as always, has the best price and the quickest shipping. Perfect addition to my camera rig.

[0.6 lb] I have two of these because they are that good. Out of all the top handles released for the Komodo, I keep coming back to this because it's A) Practical B)Solid and C) provides built in top rod mounts so I can mount a motor for Low profile configurations.


I've used pretty much all of the available Komodo top handles and this is the only top handle I see handle a tough work environment.

[Wood] This is not the best or innovative handle on the market, but one that I enjoy the look and feel of each day I use it. Much of camera work is finding efficiencies and tools that help make the experience more enjoyable, and this little handle makes it just that. I like the attention to detail that makes this work in my FX9 ecosystem, and that to me speaks volumes about the design and cleverness that went into this product.

[0.6 lb] The handle is what you'd want to hold - solid to cage, form fitting to palm and durable standard Arri Rosette construction. And the color is striking on the camera. Niceyrig has cornered the market for me on wooden handles.
