[24 lb] I struggle each time trying to figure out how to fold this back up in its carrying case so that may be on me but this the drone LOVES this thing and accurately lands on it every time! Love this thing!

[24 lb] We are using this for our homade drone that is approximately four foot square and 50lbs of thrust . The material is nice and heavy the weighted perimeter works perfectly and will not move during takeoff or landing. Makes your landing area very visible from far away when flying fpv at distances. A bit expensive in my opinion but it is very high quality. Fold easily with a bit of practice. Will definitely protect all cameras from being sandblasted.

[36 x 36 x 2.5"] Don't let the price intimidate you. This thing is very well built with quality materials. The best part is that it doesn't need to be staked down. It has a very nice weight to it and stay wherever you drop it. If the wind blows this thing around then it's too windy to be flying your drone.

The cheaper ~$20 launchpad I bought from a popular online retailer was immediately packaged up and returned within minutes of receiving this hoodman one in the mail. Night and day difference in quality.

As far as folding them up.... It's a challenge to learn. There is a good YouTube video for it. Once you've done it a few times it easy. The hoodman folds up the same as the cheaper ones. However, the hoodman is easier. It doesn't seem to fight you as much during the folding process.

[36 x 36 x 2.5"] I took the Mavic 3 Pro to Iceland and found it to be perfect for the conditions. The launch pad included in the DJI Fly More package was a waste of money. It is flimsy and it is too small. The Hoodman is weighted around the periphery and is 24 in width which is perfect. No need for pounding stakes into the ground. It stayed tight on the ground in the windy weather and protected the drone from the fine Icelandic sand that would have ruined the motors and gimbal. There are good online tutorials about how to fold the pad up for storage. Highly recommend!

[36 x 36 x 2.5"] I have seen that some people have trouble putting away the pad. Well I found that when you uppack the pad, go slow and pay attention to how it unfolds and do that process in reverse. I know that when you get in a rush of excitement to fly your Drone, sometimes you don't observe thing's as you do when you take your time. I found that instead of trying to fold your pad, twist it on each side where your hands are, one goes clockwise the other counterclockwise, also pull your hands out, then in mid twist push in. If you do it correctly the pad will easily go in the case. So you have the fully opened pad, ○ pull each hand at the same time -- -- then quickly twist, when you have a ○○ roll it together. [8' / 2.4 m] The launch pad deploys with a turn and folds up the same way. (Just like that sunshade in your car). It's heavy enough to keep from moving while your drone launches keeping dust off the drone and it's camera.

[8' / 2.4 m] I use this with a Phantom 4 and Inspire 2 -- I'm not sure it provides any added safety such as alerting pedestrians or visibility to helicopters and airplanes that a drone is nearby, but it does protect the drone/gimbal/camera from gravel and debris.
