The Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head is a 100W/s auto-sensing, multi-voltage monolight that recognizes any AC power source from 90-260VAC, allowing power variability over 5.0 stops in 1/10 stop increments. Recycling is a fast 0.5-2.1 sec. (@115V) with flash durations as short as an action-stopping 1/2200 sec at full power.

The D-Lite RX One is packed with professional and convenience features usually found in flash heads twice its price. Although this head accepts one, you won't need a PC cord. It has a built-in EL Skyport Receiver with 8 frequency channels that can handle 4 distinct groups of flashes. Separate purchase of the EL Skyport Speed Transmitter not only allows you to trigger your flash at distances up to 393' but gives you control of power on/off, modeling light functions and Speed Sync activation. Free software for Mac and PC computers is available, providing additional features such as Flash-Delay for strobing effects. Add an optional WiFi module to the transmitter and you can use specially designed apps that allow full remote control from your for iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

D-Lite RX One's bayonet mount accepts all Elinchrom accessories and softboxes up to 53" (135 cm). It comes with a power cord with a U.S. plug, sync cord, flash tube and protective cap. The included 115V 100W modeling lamp must be swapped out when using the unit in nominal 230V electrical environments.

Q: 1. Has anybody seen a lit of the various flash durations for these? I know they report 1/800th at full power, but what are the flash durations at, say, 1/2, or 1/16th? I can't find anything like this listed anywhere. I'm considering the new HS transmitter, and these durations are going to be important.

A: Hi,There is no published flash duration data for lower settings. Generally, theFastest flash duration is always at full flash power for our units, and it gets slower when you decrease flash power.The reason is that by reducing the flash power you also decrease the capacitor voltage and lower voltage will give a longer, slower flash duration. Q: 2. Hi, im looking for a power pack then can handle 3 of these strobes at once. I need it for on location shoots where there's no electricity.

Q: 3. How do you keep the modeling lamp on. As soon as I take a photo, the modeling lamp goes off. I'm using the Elinchrom EL19366 Skyport Transmitter?

A: Hi,If you check your instruction book you will see how to control the modeling lamp.Here is the item you are inquiring about.Setup Visual-Flash-Control (VFC) modeProportional modelling lamp setup (PMS) Enter VFC setup :1. Press Prop push button for more than 2 seconds, until the display shows F.X (X is 0 or 1) toenter into the Modelling lamp setup menu.2. Use the Flash-Power up and down button to change setting:- F.0: Visual-Flash-Control = OFF. Modelling lamp remains ON after flash.- F.1: Visual-Flash-Control = ON. Modelling lamp switches off during recharging.3. The display switches back to normal mode after approx. 4 seconds if no button is pressed. Thesettings are automatically stored.4. Q: 4. Does it also work with the Rotolight Elinchrom Skyport EL transmitter? (So not the Plus model) I'like to use it with Rotolights.

A: The Elinchrom D light RX One flash head does have A wireless receiver built in to the unit.

A: These lights do have an optical slave unit in each, so you can trigger them in line of sight with the Indra 500 as the master flash.

Q: 7. Can you use any transmitter and receiver with this light? I have a transmitter and three receivers that fit on my camera flashes.

A: There is a place to plug one in but the beauty is the integrated sync. When you can buy the EL sky port transmitter and as you buy more they all sync up! So nice! Love these lights!

Q: 8. Does it work in a contry use 220V, 60Hz voltage power?

A: The input voltage that the Elinchrom D-Lite RX One Flash Head, B&H # ELDLRXONE, is designed to accept is 90 to 260 VAC, 50/60 Hz. It is a multi-voltage item, so it would work for your usage needs. However, do note that the flash head includes the standard USA plug and the modeling lamp designed for use on 100-120V input voltage. As such, if you will be using the light fixture internationally, you will need to purchase a plug adapter to convert the plug to the type used in your country, and you will have to purchase a modeling lamp with the correct voltage for use in your country.

Q: 9. Is this light moonlight? I mean it has battery powered can I use it without plug it in power outlet...? Like for outdoors

A: You may be able to purchase an external power pack for these lights but this kit as it comes requiresyou to plug it in to a power outlet.

Q: 10. What is the total weight of the whole kit and the length of the bags?

[1x Reflector] I bought the d-lite rx flash head to compliment the two BRX 500 lights that I already have. I have found the light perfect for hair lighting. [1x Reflector] I've been using one of these since they first came out. I've carried it around the world packed in my kit - it fits easily into my carry on camera case. I've shot many, many commercial jobs with this little piece of plastic. They are so cheap I always figured if I got in a fix it's no problem to leave it behind. 5

[Yes] I had this lights since 2016 and they still do the job. Only one light misfires, it's been doing it since I got them but I'm too lazy to send it back for repair. I never had problems with the modeling light or color temperature. Even though they look cheap (plastic casing) don't get fool by it. These light will take the beat. I work with them for 10 hrs straight, sure the fan will start from time to time but I never had problem shooting (except for the ones I already mentioned but it's like on miss every 100 or so shots, not a biggie). I totally recommend this brand. However if your business keep growing and you need more punch they you may need to go to Profoto so start saving. 5

[4.05 lb] Have been working with studio strobes since the 1970's. Todays cameras don't need all that Norman or Speedotron power any more. For my small home-studio 2 of these kits (4 strobes) work fine. The Kit is actually less expensive than 2 stand-alone D-Lites sold separately! I got two kits as 4 of these strobes more than covers my 20' X 20' studio. Super easy to set up and understand how the trigger works. Elinchrom equals quality. 5
