Enhanced Power Loss Data Protection prepares the SSD for unexpected system power loss by minimizing data in transition in temporary buffers. It uses on-board power-loss protection capacitance to provide enough energy for the SSD firmware to move data from the transfer buffer and other temporary buffers to the NAND, thus protecting system and user data.

It uses an internal temperature sensor to monitor and log airflow and device temperature. The logged results can be accessed using the SMART command.

End-to-End Data Protection helps ensure integrity of stored data from the computer to the SSD and back.

[660 TB] I installed the drive in a old Mac Mini that has Linux Mint install. I did a disk copy to the new drive, replace the old drive. The drive works great and I was surprised at how much faster the drive works. It was a good buy, I recommend it. 5

[0.25 lb] I've never heard of Patriot as a drive manufacturer. I liked the price, saw it was manufactured in Taiwan and figured give it a go! I know Samsung is the king of SSDs, but $50 for a 1TB that's just as good is well worth the investment. I think I've found a new option in brand name SSDs! 5
