The Pantone CAPSURE Color Analyzer is a color matching solution that captures color inspiration from any surface, material, or fabric, even small, patterned, multi-colored textures and textile, and matches it quickly and accurately to a Pantone Color. It is created for professionals in fashion, home, interior, industrial, and graphic design, as well as for contractors and paint retailers. It is easy to use and portable, yet its advanced image capture technology sets a new standard for accuracy and versatility in a portable device.

The CAPSURE comes preloaded with more than 10,000 Pantone Colors such as fashion + home color system library (paper and cotton), paint + interiors library (paper and cotton) for architecture and interiors, Pantone Plus series formula guide (coated and uncoated), the Pantone Plus series CMYK (coated and uncoated), and the Pantone Goe system (coated and uncoated) for graphic design, printing, and publishing (includes sRGB, Adobe RGB, HTML, Lab, and XYZ values for multimedia design).

Q: 1. is Universal 100-240VAC Adapter Included?

Q: 3. I just received this charger, and was conditioning some old 2100mA Rayovac rechargeables. When I checked on them, I was shocked to see two of them charged to 3886 mA and still increasing. I immediately unplugged the unit and removed the batteries. One is bubbly looking like it's about to explode. Is my charger defective, or did I do something wrong?

A: Yes, the XLR input and output connections on the PAA3X are standard size.

Q: 5. Can you program the low-voltage threshold for the battery test? In other words, let's say my device won't work if the battery goes below 1.2V. Can I program this tester to only test capacity from fully charged down to 1.2V?

Q: 6. Will this charger work with Lithium Ion batteries?

A: According to the manufacturer's website, the Powerex C9000Pro Professional Charger-Analyzer supports Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) and Nickel Cadmium (NiCD) batteries. They do not list compatibility with Lithium-Ion batteries.

[Silver] Rechargeable batteries need to be refreshed periodically, and the C9000Pro does so, effectively multiplying the lifetime of your batteries. This justifies the cost, which is two or three times higher than a regular recharger. 5

[Lithium] I purchased this, not for analyzing rechargeable batteries, but for measuring capacity of several different brands of lithium AA batteries. There is a common knockoff of this product that didn't actually work for my use case, but I did use it for charging batteries, and I can say that the user interface of the Powerex is much more intuitive and easier to use. As far as customer service, I emailed Powerex to find out if this would do what I was trying to do, and a representative called me and let me know that while it is not an officially supported use, it would work, which proved to be true. I would definitely buy more products from them after having that experience. 5

[Lithium] I ended up buying this after reading about this device online being able to refresh the capacity of NiMH batteries. I've had a NiMH batteries lose their ability to hold charge and this has helped restore the life of them, more than paying for itself. 5

[LCD] I have a bunch of NiMH batteries that just didn't seem to hold a charge well. I was worried they were dying on me and I just couldn't trust them in my flash. My current charges charges batteries, nothing more. This system, it's more than just a charger, had good reviews and the price is very reasonable. It allowed me to analyze all my batteries and see which of them were no longer charging to their listed capacity. I got rid of the duds. Next time my batteries need a charge, there is a "charge only" cycle. Once a year or so I can check the remaining capacity of my batteries. I feel better knowing the capacity of my batteries as opposed to a simple "go - no go." Very happy with this purchase. 5

[LCD] It's been working fine. The only complaint is the same as a few others. it is rather slow to cycle thru all of the parameters of each battery. Would be nice if you could press a button and change the battery selected. I just let it charge overnight and check in the morning. A plus you can charge off a car battery, 5
