A: If you are using the SmallHD FOCUS HDMI monitor, Blackmagic 5" HDR Video Assist monitor, or any 5 inch external monitor, yes. Otherwise, the Canon C70 has a 3.5" LCD and is much smaller than the Kinotehnik Viewfinder.

A: The Wooden Camera Monitor Hinge for SmallHD Smart 5 Monitors (3/8"-16) can potentially work with other monitors with 1/4"-20 monitor mounts with anti-twist pin holes, but this mount is designed to primarily be compatible with specific SmallHD monitors.

Q: 7. can the connector to the camera be used with an I phone?

A: I'm not aware that you will be able to mount this to a phone. But if the Kinotehnik Viewfinder fits over your phone screen it could magnify it. However with this said this product is not designed to be used with phones and you would need to test it.

Q: 8. I see this is threaded for diopters but Kinotehnik's do not fit. Does anyone make diopoters for this?

A: no unfortunately there are no 3rd party diopters for this product

A: While not specifically listed the Ninja V does have a 5" screen as well. It should work with that monitor also. However you would need to test it out to see the results.

[1.4 lb] Twice I've had ACs drop or smash my SmallHD monitor, both times it looked like the screen was completely cracked and both times it turned out only the screen protector cracked and my monitor was fine. Did the screen protector save my monitor? Possibly! Per the other reviews, I have had no issues attaching this to my monitor (one time I didn't apply it quite straight and I had to push out the air bubbles but once I did that no further problems). I also don't feel that the protector limits my ability to tell critical focus when I zoom in on my monitor. 5

[1.4 lb] Usually operate my 702 Touch without any hood, as it's already large-ish on my FX6. Does not seem to diminish image quality shown on monitor either. A prior one saved my 702 Touch, so cheap insurance for beloved and pricey on-cam monitors. 5
