A: If you are using the SmallHD FOCUS HDMI monitor, Blackmagic 5" HDR Video Assist monitor, or any 5 inch external monitor, yes. Otherwise, the Canon C70 has a 3.5" LCD and is much smaller than the Kinotehnik Viewfinder.

Q: 2. Would this viewfinder work on a RED 4.7" LCD?

A: No it will not.

A: no unfortunately there are no 3rd party diopters for this product

A: no this has not been tested in the 5.5" version of the smallHD monitor so there is no guarantee that it will work

Q: 5. Does bh sell the diopters for this LCDVFBM5?

A: no at the moment there aren't any third party diopters available for this at the moment

Q: 6. Why doesn't this work with other monitors?

A: The Wooden Camera Monitor Hinge for SmallHD Smart 5 Monitors (3/8"-16) can potentially work with other monitors with 1/4"-20 monitor mounts with anti-twist pin holes, but this mount is designed to primarily be compatible with specific SmallHD monitors.

Q: 7. Will this fit on a SmallHD 502 bright?

A: Although not tested for it, on paper, it appears the Kinotehnik Viewfinder for SmallHD FOCUS HDMI, BMPCC 6K/4K with 5" LCD Screen shouldn't have any problems with the SmallHD 502 Bright On-Camera Monitor.

Q: 8. can the connector to the camera be used with an I phone?

A: I'm not aware that you will be able to mount this to a phone. But if the Kinotehnik Viewfinder fits over your phone screen it could magnify it. However with this said this product is not designed to be used with phones and you would need to test it.

Q: 9. can you tell me what the exact dimensions are? I would like to use this with an external 5" portkeys bm6 monitor

A: the dimensions for this viewfinder are 7.5 x 7.5 x 3.9" / 19 x 19 x 10 cm

[2.35 lb] Usually operating Cine 5 with hood, but when it comes needs to come off, this a smart thing to have. Larger version saved my 702 Touch, so cheap insurance for beloved and pricey on-cam monitors. 5

[2.35 lb] Yes hard to place on it, but hey, it saved my poor monitor's life. That gets five star and plus a few extra bags of popcorn. But yes bubbles are tough, listen to the other reviewer! 5

[2.35 lb] Usually operate my 702 Touch without any hood, as it's already large-ish on my FX6. Does not seem to diminish image quality shown on monitor either. A prior one saved my 702 Touch, so cheap insurance for beloved and pricey on-cam monitors. 5

[2.35 lb] Must-have for protecting the screen. I shot in a metal stamping facility where there was metal particles in the air, and touched my screen and it left a metal scratch - luckily in the acrylic, not the screen, thanks to this protector. 5
