This SmallHD V-Mount Power Kit for Camerascan power SmallHD's 1300, 1700, and 2400 series monitors via professional V-mount batteries. This plate mounts to the rear of those monitors using a separately available cheese plate. A D-tap to 4-Pin XLR cable is included for connecting the plate to the monitor.

[7.2 oz / 204 g] High quality monitor. Solid built, excellent image quality. Product you can rely on to work accurately every time. Super bright for outdoors so you can see your shots clearly in direct sunlight. Absolutely worth the cost. 5

[V-mount] Great cable that prevents accidentally unplugging the monitor, which used to happen quite a bit with the standard cable. This is also much better quality that some of the other P-TAP to dummy battery solutions I've had, where the cable has ripped from the battery multiple times. This feels really solid with high quality connections. My main criticism is that this is just stupidly expensive for what it is. $280 for a basic power cable is just insane! I was tempted to deduct 2 stars for the price, but decided to award them on quality on the product instead. 5

[7.2 oz / 204 g] The price was bit much but since it's a tool I use every time I shoot it's worth the investment for top quality gear. This monitor is so much brighter than any other monitor I have ever used. I think this is my 4th smallhd monitor and by far it's the best. Evenin bright sunlight I could see everything- wow! 5
