This SmallHD Gold Mount Power Kit Cheese Platecan power SmallHD's 1300, 1700, and 2400 series monitors via professional Gold mount batteries. This plate mounts to the rear of those monitors using a separately available cheese plate. A D-tap to 4-Pin XLR cable is included for connecting the plate to the monitor.

A: The ability to see your image from output on an external monitor and on the camera's LCD, is entirely dependent on the camera's ability to do so. The Sony FX3 has the ability to set the LCD screen, so it will remain on, while connected via HDMI to an external monitor. It must also be set to a compatible frame rate / resolution, that the monitor can accept for it to properly show on a monitor, such as the SmallHD 702 Touch 7- On-Camera Monitor and on the camera.

A: It cannot. This does not have such a connection for power.

[9.25 x 7 x 2.5"] I love smallhd's monitors. This one is my fourth, and by far the best. The picture quality is outstanding and for critical 4K focus it does the job well. Very bright even outdoors in bright sunlight. A must have for my camera setups is a quality monitor of a decent size and this checks all the boxes. I love that I can power this easily with the included cable and d-tap. 5

[7.2 oz / 204 g] This is overall a fantastic monitor. I found it to be totally usable outdoors without a sunhood - just don't expect it to compete with the glare from direct sun hitting the screen. It's worth noting that this monitor is significantly heavier than the 702 Bright and not as ideal for smaller setups. 5

[7.2 oz / 204 g] The price was bit much but since it's a tool I use every time I shoot it's worth the investment for top quality gear. This monitor is so much brighter than any other monitor I have ever used. I think this is my 4th smallhd monitor and by far it's the best. Evenin bright sunlight I could see everything- wow! 5

[Gold mount] The screen on the 702 Touch has a slightly wider gamut and I like the touch screen but switched this for 2 reason. More power efficient and can show 2 inputs at once. For setting up and checking on multiple cameras this has been amazing. Set up a button for SDI 1 and SDI 2 and multi view. Then I can quickly jump to one input or another or both. Makes setting up an interview easy and also great for just keeping an eye on multiple cameras. 5

[9.25 x 7 x 2.5"] This is the best field monitor period!. I own the ATOMOS Shogun Inferno (1500nits) and its a recorder, but the image quality and the 2200 nits of the 7¨Small HD are...incredible, the OS works like a dream. If you are looking for a field monitor, this is the one. 5
