Q: 9. Could I use this to monitor the recording levels during our church service? Our sound equipment is in a back room. We have a Presonus and I use an iPad to make adjustments during the service from a seat in the congregation. But I have no way to listen to the recording levels without being disruptive. If this would allow me to hear the input to the recorder over my phone during the service it would be so helpful!! Will it do that?

A: Theoretically, you could patch your board into a the JK audio daptor 2, connect it to a cell phone, and have another person call said cell phone to listen to the audio signal being patched into the JK Audio box. Monitoring this way would not be my first choice however. I'd probably consider getting an IEM wireless system, and if having the signal penetrate walls were an issue, I'd get some paddle antennas into the auditorium. This set up would allow me to be wireless from the console, and have the ability to use high quality headphones into the beltpack receiver. If this interest you, look into the Sennheiser ew 300 IEM G3 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring System; B&H# SEEW300IEM3A.

Q: 10. Does it come with bluetooth remote? thanks

A: No, just the clamp. By the way, it's a very nice and well-designed piece.

[2.275 lb] I have only used this system a few times so I do not and can not do a full review. I can say the volume is better on my handset and was always my wifes complaint (one of many) The service is quite a bit higher cost than Magicjack but the service is better. You get what you pay for.

[396 x 162] After porting over an old land line to an cable company, receiving their black box phone modem, spending several hours trying to get it to work, and more time on two phone calls with tech support, still not working, my brother-in-law suggested OOMA. IT IS SO SIMPLE TO SET UP-15 MINUTES, AND WORKED RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. You set up an OOMA account and pick your area code and phone number to get the OOMA working, then I asked them-simple and on-line-to port over that phone line from the cable/internet company. They did it within a few days, and it worked immediately. The default number for calling out was OOMAs number, and I wanted it to be my old land line number, so I went to my account on-line, found the menu item, and voila-that worked. I never needed to call customer service. When they ported over my number they emailed me, and had instructions in case a re-boot was necessary, which it wasnt. They make it so simple, I just have to wonder why that big cable/internet company has to make absolutely everything so complicated and non-functional

Kudos OOMA!

[2.275 lb] Had our home number of 29 years ported to Ooma. Our VOIP phone service from AT&T was $50/month and limited to 200 minutes.
Ooma warned us to separate your phone and Internet service with a dry-loop connection if you have DSL Internet service. However, upon doing more research, I learned that if you have a newer version of DSL (called VDSL2 of ADSL2+), this is not necessary. We took a chance and didn't bother calling AT&T to go through the confusing process of setting up dry-loop DSL.
Our number ported over just fine in about a week and Ooma kept us updated with an exact date.
The Ooma hardware is very solid and works as it should, so far. We got the Ooma Telos and 3 HD3 handsets, and the audio quality of the handsets is very good.
Our new monthly cost is local taxes only, which is just below $7.
Highly recommended.

[2.275 lb] The Polycom Trio 8800 is by far the best add on to a home and business conferencing setup. It gives you the flexibility of connecting to a computer for a plug and play experience or configuring advanced features such as SIP for dialing into meetings. I use Zoom with a SIP setup and they seamlessly integrate dialing up via SIP and using my computer’s video camera.

[396 x 162] B&H was up to their always high standards of quick order processiing and shippment. The ooma Telo is exactly what they advertised and wah I wanted. Setup was simple with the big graphic instruction sheet, and we were operating within minutes of coming out of the box. Reception is absolutely clear and smooth. Why can't all online purchases be like this?

[2.275 lb] Had OOMA Telo2 for less than a month, but it has outstanding performance in all areas. Very clear voice calls, much better than BasicTalk VOIP. I would recommend this VOIP phone system to anyone.

[2x RJ45 ] My Ooma Telo is working perfectly so far. It will save me huge $$$ over what I was paying for phone/internet. It's easy to set up, and the basic features are more than what I'll need. I even ported my number from my old land line and it didn't take nearly as long as Ooma had notified me it would take, and the porting process was smooth. The voicemail works great, and the sound quality of calls is no different from my land line. People calling me don't know there has been any change to my phone service.
