The FS-900 Multidyne 3-in-1 Fiber Optic Base Station from JVC is part of a fiber optic system designed for the GY-HM890 ProHD Camcorder. The system supports 3G-SDI 1080p/60 camera feeds & returns, and takes advantage of the camera's built-in streaming engine for video-over-IP functionality.

Up to three cameras are supported by the Base Station, and its redundant power supplies provide up to 150W for each camera, as well as prompters and monitors. With built-in gigabit Ethernet, the lightweight, 2 RU Base Station also allows video-over-IP, control, and advanced configuration. The high-quality 1080p video signals are ideal for webcasts, virtual sets, and image magnification (I-MAG) applications. The system integrates easily with any studio, mobile truck, or portable flypack, and connects directly with a facility's switcher, router, intercom, and house sync systems.

A: This transmitter will not work with car radios.

A: No, the Nanlite FS-150 AC LED Monolight does not include a case with the purchase of the light fixture.

Q: 5. I have a TRAM TR-50 lav mic that is made to use with the Senn EW100 G3 system. I have teh Senn ME2 as well that came with the G3 kit. I would like to be able to use both the TR-50 and the ME2 wired to my SD-302. Since the TR-50 is wired to work with the G3 I assume this would work to use it wired (in lieu of the TRAM TR 79+ unit for the same purpose). Can anyone who as ACTUALLY done this confirm that it will work? I too assume it will, but would like to hear from someone who has actually done it if at all possible. Thanks!

A: I know it doesnt work with my Countryman B3. I think it is tuned for the ME2. It clips and distorts with my Countryman. It is possible if the TRAM is similar sensitivity as ME2.

Q: 6. How is this product different than the Rode VXLR+ ? Voltage ? Impedance ?

A: The Rode VXLR Plus does not provide the same voltage that the Sennheiser provides. The Rode does 3-5v. For example: the Sennheiser ME 2 requires 7.5v. The Rode VXLR Plus would not supply that voltage.

A: This device has the special female mic connector (1/8 locking) for Sennheiser lavelier mics that are normally used with the G3 wireless system. It converts only those mics so they may be used with standard XLR mic cables. So this device has a male XLR connector that plugs into a standard mixer mic input. It is not suitable for connecting other kinds of mics with XLR connectors.

Q: 9. Is there an umbrella hole or some way of attaching the umbrella shaft?

A: The umbrella mount is on the side of the Nanlite FS-150 Daylight LED Monolight BH #NAFS150 yoke.

Q: 10. the mount bowens of the light is totally universal? I saw that not all mounts are compatible

A: The Nanlite units like this one are fully compatible with the various Bowens S mount accessories on the market.

[24.085 lb] SO glad I bought this little reel. I use it to store my audio cables that have a strong bias, and don't seem to want to be wrapped in the usual over-under method, so the reel is the perfect solution, making setup and tear down easy and quick. It also has a larger core radius, so the cables aren't stressed (critical angle or something like that). It has a brake, which I don't use, so I simply removed it. It is plastic - so it's quite light and easy to carry. It seems to be strong enough to last many years. The only downside to this reel is that because it is so very light, it tends to follow me as I pull the cables off, but putting a heavy mic stand on the leg easily fixes that. Honestly, this little baby is great - especially considering that I was originally looking to buy one of the metal reels - but those things cost about ten times the price! This reel isn't made to be stackable, but that is absolutely fine with me. (Man, rereading my review here makes it look like I work for the company, but I assure you that is not the case!) Anyway - really glad I bought this baby! Cheers! 5

[24.085 lb] I had to drill large holes in the very center of the plate to allow for easy in/out of the short end of the cable. After that these reels worked great. Totally worth the price and the headache relief of under/over cable wrapping until your arms fall off. I started with 1 and bought 5 more recently. 5

[24.085 lb] Just note that this are single channels per box. So you essentially used the SDI output as an additional out which is nice and saves us a DA. Took a chance on an unknown player and happy to say they worked. These are the same guys that own lilliput (shared a booth at NAB at least) 5

[24.085 lb] Plugged it in and it worked with no adjustments or configuration necessary. Long connection with fiber looks exactly like short connection with DVI cable. I'm running a 1920 x 1200 monitor at 60 Hz. 5
